Day 4 -Swindon police station working on identifying the complexities of vulnerability and how they can manifest differently amongst men and women and the likely impact!
Day 5 -UCLAN - Law faculty working towards creating a set of legal parameters to help stop and prevent unlawful ‘community based controls’.

Day one of IWD 2018 starts in my home town Blackburn with @1VoiceBlackburn and the amazing WEG’s. 😊Empowerment , civic participation & exercising free will & informed choices debate . Capitalism versus Socialism was the debating topic. Girl Power
Watch out for tomorrow’s location, going to work my way around as many as possible up and down the UK... aiming to end up back in Blackburn...!!!

As part of the activity for #WomensInternationalDay Celebrations #pressforprogress SAS will be taking part or be running a range of events with key partners within the voluntary and public sector. Please support wherever you can.
Last week I was working with the College of Policing with the 2018 Fast Track cohort on gendered based violence & detailed investigation & considerations that investigators should make that can help accurately identify not just the forensic evidenc...e but the psychology and neuroscience of trauma that is intrinsically linked to survival.... as such differentiate between victims and abusers, identify the best risk management/prevention. tools or target hardening/prosecution and more...

‪I watch the news & cry thinking of the mother who at desperation point was left with no choice but to throw her baby out of the window, I cry with relief when I heard that the baby was caught, I then cry again with bitter sweet joy at the love people of all backgrounds are showing each other . The 'United Nations are here ' as one volunteer so beautifully described the gathering of kind hearted volunteers that came together to help. ❤️‬
I just wish I lived close enough to physically and emotionally help those that are in utter anguish over their loved ones that they have lost or still have no news of. 😢

They are in control of how many messages they send, so your bill can soon mount up. Whatever you do I would advise that you DO NOT click on any of the links as it is unclear to me if you are charged more for clicking on the links provided.
Please check your bills and also just ring up your phone provider and bar all subscription services, the so called 'companies' that operate in this manner are classed as 'subscription services'. Proactively barring is better than trying to get your money back.
