Well what can I say? I was unloading the car last night in the rain, sorting all the kit out etc, thinking what a long day it had been. Finally sat down at 10pm and started to reflect on the day at Gordon Castle Highland Games. Wow you guys working for our small company are absolutely amazing. I know what you’re maybe thinking, that I'm just paying you all lip service, but believe me I'm not. I listened to every single radio message yesterday and was so impressed with everyon...e’s professionalism and how every single person in the team done there absolute best to make the event a success.
There’s a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes long before we turn up on the day and I would like to thank 2 people in particular who go well beyond what’s asked or expected of them, Brent Johnson and Andrew “Elmo” McColl. Then there’s the rest of the team who are a fantastic lot to work with and the Fraserburgh Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets did a marvellous job too.
Just before I left the Castle I went in to say goodbye to Kyra and her team and the feedback I was getting was fantastic. Well done and thanks for making the day a huge success.
