Nice and quiet location. Upgraded the caravan but not everything advertised in upgrade was there. Caravan was really nice though. Staff friendly. Didn't go to the entertainment as was mostly kids stuff and we didn't have kids. Park is clean and tidy. Nice location on edge of town.

Great place. Nice and quiet. There is a train track running along the edge of the park but it didn't effect us and we couldn't hear it. The onsite restaurant is great. Prices are good and food is nice.

Sandylands Holiday Park, we have comfortable 3night stay with them, living room size little bit small.
Park covers bigger area and may be because of this we got very far caravan from activity area and due to this we were unable to enjoy these amenities. I fine swimming pool timing are very odd.

Terrific value compared to other parks that have entertainment included in the price and our kids were well entertained. The entertainment staff were nice friendly people and gave my 7 year old daughter a birthday shout out on stage and gave her a lovely birthday card.
Pitch for our tourer was basic with only an electric hook up, but a water tap was nearby. Major gripe from all touring caravan owners were the large white rocks along the entrance road to the touring pitches, which made reversing a large caravan onto the pitch a very difficult task. If you have a motor mover, then no problem, but reversing into position was a chore. However the pitch itself was a decent hard surface and the caravan felt very secure on it.
The touring pitch is adjacent to a railway and we pitched near the road, not up at the fence beside it so it didn't bother us very much.
Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the activities held there, as well as the usual amusement arcade.
All in all, we enjoyed our 5 days at Sandylands, the staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the kids had a great time.
Downsides, were the price of alcohol in the bar which is expensive and the push button showers and the large white rocks. However, we will happily come back.
