Swimming and leisure water facilities are available to everyone in Upper Nithsdale. The FUNpool is a modern swimming pool providing a range of different swimming activities. Whether it's lane swimming, learning to swim, taking part in a aqua-69aerobics class or concentrating on improving your technique, there is something for everyone at the FUNpool. The pool is 16m long by 8m wide. Shallow end is 0. 9m, Deep end 1. 5m. We also have a baby pool, suitable for young kids with graduated steps down to a depth of 0. 6m. Also an 18pc fitness suite, Sauna & Steam room. The FUN Pool is also very accessible by public transport, e. g. bus and train and is ideally situated for a family day out with near-by park and tea room.

We have also just started our brand new Aqua-Zumba classes. Profile members can book 8 days in advance, and Non-profile members 7 days in advance after 2pm. Classes are on Tuesday nights from 19: 00 - 19: 45 with Lisa Robertson.

Rainbow Swim Scheme (RSS) runs in a period of 12 week blocks and offers opportunities for children of all ages- Swimmers and Non- Swimmers. Classes offer from learning to swim to swimming techniques and stamina swimming. Fore more information on specific days, times and prices please contact us either by telephone or here. We also have a swim club after graduating through the RSS called the Piranha's run by swim coaches on Tuesday's from 17: 00-18: 00.
