Enjoyed the food

Was best fish supper in town but saturdays purchase wasn't good ..
Soggy soft chips and fish and batter greasy ..just not usual standard..hope it was one of..or we won't have a decent chippie in the town..

In Barrhead we have several places where you can buy 'carry out' food, unfortunately I am very fussy regarding many aspects of the premises and cleanliness of both, the place and the staff are uppermost. I am very happy to recommend New Yorker in Main Street, Barrhead, for their fish and chips, the only carry out food that I buy. They look good enough to eat and they are. Excellent and a reasonable price, just part of a very wide menu with something to suit everyone.

If you visit Santi's New Yorker, you must try this place for fish and chips , excellent value for money , always very hot and freshly cooked, good size portion for the price , i have been lots of times and never been dissapointed.

Nothing too fancy, great fish and chips, excellent service . As always food is perfect , staff friendly, very clean restaurant.

The fish was amazingly fresh. It tasted like they literally caught the fish before it went into my mouth. And the chips were super tasty.
