Just over 500 likes in 2018. Thanks for that. I'll probably be in the #GlensBarAndLounge on #TheLastSAM, as there's no show. See you there or next year folks. Cheers, Geoff. facebook.com/SAWAcousticMusic December 2018

After an amazing Saltire Sunday with #AndrewGordon & #HinginByAThreed as guests/friends, we're planning our next show, our Robert Burns Do on January 27th, 2019. I'd like to imagine Rabbie visiting Ayrshire in 2019 and asking him how he would entertain us today. What modern or traditional music or poetry would he like to perform? Let's have a "#WhitWidBurnsDay" :-) facebook.com/SAWAcousticMusic

#SAWAcousticMusic's end of January show is sorted. On the billing is- female singer/guitarist #FranklynAcoustic. Have a watch/listen to "Love Song" - youtube.com/watch?v=3hXyClg1h9U I met #TaylorHowie again at the #NewCumnockWorkingMensClub's Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser on Saturday and he agreed to do the show as soon as I asked him. #AlecMack came to SAW's latest show and his band, #LocarnoSwing will join us too. Brilliant!

Sunday afternoon: time for SAW's 3rd successive #StAndrewsDo St. Andrew, patron saint of Scotland's singers & sore throats. A couple of other musicians have said they'll try to come along so could be a busy afternoon. facebook.com/events/428761497625674

Our open-floor session with Lewis Cedar & Alec Mack.

The Wanlockhead Wizard #DaveGibb is a hard act to follow but Hingin By A Threed did it in style. WOW! What an afternoon of entertainment. And it didn't finish there. In popped #LewisCedar for a couple of songs, then #AlecMack. What a day :-) :-) facebook.com/SAWAcousticMusic

User

Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon. Geoff is doing a fantastic job.

User

This is a lovely venue to play in. The acoustics are great, meaning you can perform completely acoustic sets. It deserves great support.

User

This hall is certainly one of best to sing and play in. The acoustics are so good, no extra effort is needed to fill the space with joyous sounds. Everyone involved made us so welcome, thank you.

Thanks to Geoff Crolley and SAW Acoustic Music for hosting our Celtic Journey show with Kristyn Murphy at the Sweet Afton Water (SAW) Acoustic Music Festival 2017. The recently restored New Cumnock Town Hall is a beautiful venue and we were received very warmly - so happy to have performed the final show of our 2017 Celtic Journey tour to such lovely, friendly and welcoming audience and Cumnock Highland-Dancing performed beautifully. Thanks again for having us! :) Hope to see you all again one day soon.

Warmest wishes,

The Meadows

Gaynor Wilson & I aka "Wilson McGladdery" travelled from Saddleworth, near Manchester to play our first Scottish gig not really knowing what to expect. We were greeted with a very warm reception by SAW Acoustic Music Club at a beautifully renovated Town Hall.

After our gig we were treated to a guided tour of the newly restored lido before we started the journey home.

We were impressed by friendiness and generosity of the folks of New Cumnock and we look forward to returning to their beautiful town soon.

Friendly Folk! Geoff is creating a great atmosphere in a really nice venue. Pay a visit soon ! And again in July 2017. People really need to get behind this club! The natural reverb is excellent. I can't emphasise enough the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of this venue! If you have not visited the club yet make sure you do soon! Bring your guitar!

Fantastic - FREE - event on the last Sunday of every month. A great way to hear some fantastic music and see great performances. Normally starts around 1pm or 2pm until approx 5pm but times vary slightly.

Tea / Coffee and biscuits available for a donation and normally a raffle to help with costs. Club operates on donations only but a fantastic event.
