Friday marked the first day of the 2017-18 avalanche reporting season in the Scottish Mountains. It also saw the official launch of the Be Avalanche Aware App which has been designed and developed by the Scottish Avalanche information Service in partnership with SBP. It's available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
