User

What a place - don’t think I’ve ever screamed/jumped/laughed so much all in one go! Brilliant experience. The scare actors are great as is the overall set-up. I’ve read some of the not so good reviews on here and I honestly think these reviews must be for a different place! Will be back next year! 😊

User

Went tonight with my sister and nephew. ...we loved it. ..especially Pyhsco bit......him at the end was just the best lol

User

Went on halloween night, i've been every year for the past 3 years and I honestly didn't think anything would top the first Halloween one but by god! Lastnight was incredible and honestly by far the best one yet!

The last attraction were you are hooded was by far the best attraction, I had to pee twice when it was over I was that scared

And pychomanteum was unreal, and a bit sick

I would like to see the slenderman cornfields back as that was brilliant!

Never fails coming every year!

User

We travelled here because there is an age restriction for our local 'scare' park and my 12 year old was desperate for a scare experience this year. Totally worth the travel!

Reading some of the reviews below I wonder if we went to the same place, as our experience was hilarious, with lots of scares. Maybe different actors on different eves? I was literally chased out of 2 of the experiences screaming/laughing, another we couldn't escape from because we were cornered by the actors shouting for us to 'get out!' and another I was shut in alone, while a ghoul blocked the way with my family laughing their heads off outside! We were in a group of 11 at the beginning and at no point felt like we were missing out by being in the middle or at the back

User

We had a fantastic time this evening. The glow stick maze was the highlight for us. With twisted Psychomanteum a close second. We feel it is well worth the extra £5. Tom on the bar was excellent, friendly and reassuring which is just what is needed after the mazes.

User

Wasn't sure what to expect. A Family of 4 - took our 10 year old and 14 year old. We knew the 10yr old would be ok so we made the decision to take him and it was the right decision. He loved it and got a bit of extra attention from the actors too. The teenager got freaked out a bit towards the end - but she still enjoyed it. We thought it was brilliant - scary, funny, and definitely had the fear factor. We visited on bonfire weekend after Halloween so it wasn;t too busy and probably the best time to go. Thought it was worth the £18 entry fee. A Good family scary fun experience! (but definitely not for the faint hearted, easily scared or if you are scared of the pitch black darkness!)

User

The walk through areas were brilliantly done. Well designed, themes were great and the scare actors on point.

The over 18s section was truly something else. You owe it to yourselves to go here. The guys did an amazing job

User

Thank you so much for tonight 9th year I have gone and you did not disappoint xxx

User

Really good

User

Psychological torment at its best !!!! Brilliant !!

User

Myself and family 5 of us in total, had a great time will deffinatley be back, the actors are very good.

User

Me and my friend went last night and what an experience it was just out of this world!!! We even did the add on which was a eye open experience!!! Would recommend both experiences to anyone who likes horror and being scared!!!! 😱👻😎

User

Love love love this place.. came for the first time last year with my friend & it was an experience like no other scare attractions I’ve ever been to!! I highly recommend this place to everyone, u won’t be disappointed trust mexx

User

It's great

User

If you want a fantastic, fun filled night full of laughter and scares with family and friends this is the place to go. First time visiting last year and was an amazing experience. Definatley worth going.

User

I went to scare kingdom a couple of weeks ago, with two of my friends. We had an amazing time. Food was great and everyone was so friendly behind the bar. At the end of the night, whilst waiting for a taxi for 50 minutes and still waiting....The owners son, sorry I cannot remember his name. Couldn't believe how long we had waited, and offered us a lift home! Absolutely saved our night! Thank you so much

User

I am a regular visitor to scarekingdom i go every event as always it is brilliant but tonight on walpurgis night i was a bit dissapointed as there is 2 lots of seats and me and my family sat down whilst another group was there they got taken in and then another filled there seats which they arrived after us the lady came to the door and asked for a small group i said there is 4 here as we were due to be going in next but she completley ignored me and even the other side said that we should have gone in but instead she took the full 7 of the other people who were scare review collegues i find this a bit out of order due to the fact it was our turn and they got priority which i think is unfair but would understand as you want to get good reviews but to be ignored by staff was out of order .

User

Honestly scary and terrorfying! I push myself to the limits with my group of friends last night. But great experience and will be returning again soon 😊👍

User

Had a fantastic first visit to Scare Kingdom’s Christmas FestEVIL event.

Thoroughly enjoyed both Manormortis ‘The House of Living Toys and Body Snatchers ‘The Christmas Presence. Both fantastic mazes each different in there own right.

The highlight of the evening for me however was ‘Psychomanteum’ - the UK’s sickest attraction, back with a new version “BloodMASS” this extra charge, 18+ ,full-contact scare maze was absolutely insane and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Overall I had a awesome evening at Scare Kingdom. Fantastic mazes, amazing actors. A massive well done and thank you to all the team at Scare Kingdom for making my night so great. I look forward to seeing you all again in the new year!

User

Fantastic attraction. Keeps you on your toes all the way round. Actors were 100 percent amazing. Recommend to anyway who thrives off of scare attractions, adrenaline seekers and horror fans.

User

Brilliant, we found Isadora at the end of the first chapter..... great scares.... the London whore house injected humour and soul into proceedings that Jack the Ripper would be proud of.... I opted to go into Psychomanteum to be ‘treated’ ....... well if shocking is what you want, shocking is what you get!!!! I now understand why they make sure you definitely want to go in and understand all the rules. Gothic asylum madness mixed with sexually grotesque behaviour and deviant characters. Actors were great. Still feels a bit surreal now. X rated American Horror story. Well done. Will definitely be attending the Halloween sessions

User

Brilliant night had such a laugh they really have gone all out and it really has you on your toes, all actors are really into it even tho they must say the same speeches over and over again , defo recommend for any one who likes a scare and a good night.

User

Awesome!!! And pretty polly () topped the night off even if she didn’t put the kettle on!! Fantastic night guys thanks to you all!! Highly highly recommended!!

User

An absolutely ace night out with some mates looking forward to the event in Feb, all mazes where brill biggest highlight of the night without a doubt was the 18+ blood mass attraction...interesting to say the least (feel a tad violated lol) but without a doubt a highlight of my 2017

All staff where great & helpful and very professional from the actors to the member's of staff who led us to our mazes job well done ladies & gents and i cannot wait to visit in 2018!

User

All i can say is don't go if you have nervous energy. This place is ...... Terrifying... Scary.... Totally fantastic. Well worth the money, a great experience. Will be doing a return visit next year.

User

Absolutely brilliant by far the best scare attraction iv been to and the over 18 bit wow it’s a must !! Can’t wait for next year

User

Went on sun with my girlfriend.

The staff were fantastic

The sets are bloody amazing.

Was I scared?...yeah in parts.. Lots of fun.

A very 'different' night out.

The last room where you can go in on your own was brilliant!..everyone has to try it.

Although I do think they should take things a bit further..

Would I go again?..hmmm don't know.

But highly recommend it.

Make the last room even more hardcore then I might.

User

Not very scary compared to farmageddon more theatrical than jumpy, but was still good fun! Did the over 18s bit at the end all i will say is dont do it if you have a bad gag reflex! think i was sick in my mouth at least twice!

User

Just got home from the Valenterror Event. I was really excited to visit, all of the actors were brilliant in all of the attractions. Particularly Loved Queenie in the house of Harlets! Thought the rest of that attraction was very short, it was a lot of fun but didn't expect it to be over so quickly.

Would visit again though. Sets are amazing.

User

was a bit disappointing the xmas one was suppose to go in at the 8.30 intake dint get in till 9.20 then waiting around for ages in the cold to go in other bits was not really all that scary was funny most off it.

User

it was set out good, good acting but i didnt find it that scary to be honest althogh other people wer screaming and on the floor lol... the over 18 part was very short but more fun 😂

User

The scare park itself was great. Full of suspense, great interactive entertainment and great atmos...fear!

However, I would have liked it to have lasted a little longer (like the one for Halloween did a few years ago). But I understand that there must have been reasons behind it so I don't mean that as a criticism- just as something that would have made it better.

I braved psychomanteum... Well, I didn't brave ALL of it! But I braved some of it...

Based on what I did brave... don't go in if you're offended by extreme sexual content (I'm no prude so this didn't bother me so much, though it did go a bit too far and nothing on the disclaimer could have prepared me for it!). Also avoid if you are unable to eat or drink disgusting things and dislike being physically moved or people getting very close to you (all above board, but these are important things to bear in mind when thinking of entering. Other than that, I won't spoil it...) 😉 Great for adrenaline junkies who don't mind these things, but best avoided for those that do.

When I said the safe word, the actor announced it to everyone. The woman taking the tickets also said that I was the first one to call it. So everyone was asking me why etc. I would have preferred it if I could have just sneaked away without the actor announcing it to everyone, and I don't think it really added anything to my experience (other than embarrassment) or that of the people waiting in the queue.

This also caused people outside to ask me if I'd said the safe word. I briefly spoke to them and admitted it cos I didn't really care what anyone thought. When i walked away from them, a plastic pint cup landed near me. I don't know if they'd deliberately thrown it at me or if they'd just thrown it generally as a means of littering and it landed near me. I'll elaborate more in a PM.

I really liked the main attractions. That was great entertainment and the actors were really helpful if we had any questions about suitability of attractions, as well as acting the parts of their characters really well.

I'd certainly recommend the main attractions to anyone! xx

User

Not as scary as last year, was abit of a letdown as previously it has been a lot scarier. Didn’t mind paying the £20 to get in last year as was well worth it but this year was abit disappointed

User

If the christmas one was advertised as a comedy horror christmas experience then this would have been good. All the advertisements made it out to be something it wasn’t. Such a shame as the halloween one is always good and scary! The Christmas one not so much, i wouldn’t book again for the christmas one. Far too short and it is no where near the standard of your halloween stuff. Will be returning for halloween 2018 though!

User

I come to scare kingdom every time it’s open with out fail, and usually I absolutely love it I’ve even been known to go round twice in one night, but this year just wasn’t the best I was genuinely disappointed I feel like I missed the story or something, I’ll be back and I hope I can change this review back to a 5* because I do really love the place.

P.s I’m wearing my jumper with pride

User

I came along with my 2 friends on Friday night, I am a jumpy person and was terrified driving here but after the whole event I was left feeling pretty disappointed, I jumped a few times but wasn't scared in the slightest. Was really looking forward to this but was left feeling really disappointed and not scared in the slightest

User

Having waited almost two months since booking I feel it was a bit offal let down. The promo videos are literally just for that.. it's a lot smaller than I imagined and more funny than anything. The 18+ bit lasted about 3/4mins and was nothing like the you tube clip...if that part is the sickest attraction in the UK, I dread to think what any others are like. If you wanted laugh, then go, but as for scares, I am more scared when there's a thunder storm!!

User

Its a let down compared to the video adverts online! Its more funny than scary & half the things you see on the adverts do not happen! There was no corn field & no killer clown! One of the atttactions was literally people popping out from behind hatches the whole way through it you could see exactly wer they were!! The 18+ part at the end was also crap, a little funny, but defo not scary & u are only in there 2 minutes!!

User

Wouldn’t recommend scare kingdom... 1 hour wait to get in, 1st attraction 5minutes then another 20 minutes till the 2nd another 20minute wait after that, left after the 3rd attraction as we had already been there 2 hours, brilliant while inside but far to much waiting which ruined the mood altogether

User
