Welcome to the official Facebook page for the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh.

The School of Physics and Astronomy is based in the James Clerk Maxwell Building at the King’s Building campus and the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh. It currently has 260 members of staff, and 850 students studying for undergraduate, MSc and PhD degrees. Top quality research is conducted and was recognised in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.
