My visit to Scone Palace was okay. A little sad no photos were allowed inside, but understandable. Overall, the palace was nice to wonder through and I finally got the chance to see the painting of Dido Elizabeth Belle and her cousin Lady Elizabeth Murray that inspired the movie Belle.

Great Palace with huge grounds, spent a lot of the day there, great for kids as well. The cafe has some good food and cakes and the gift shop is well stocked and also has a selection of food and whisky. Good access for most of the grounds for disabled and pushchairs, however the latter are not allowed in the palace itself. The maze and ancient graveyard were closed when we went seemingly to prepare for halloween which was a shame.

A beautiful castle with a rich history. The grounds are lovely and fun to explore. They offer a gift shop, a restaurant, and a tea room. The best part is the beautifully decorated and appointed interior. I want to emphasize this. The interior is second to none! The painting of Did and Elizabeth is here popularized in the movie 'Belle'.

Lovely palace with extensive, well managed grounds containing a vegetable/herb garden, children's playground and maze. The only thing for those with young children to be aware of is that pushchairs aren't allowed in the palace itself and have to be left in the cloakroom by the entrance. They're fine in the cafe, gift shop and grounds though.

Wonderful place... the Stone of Destiny actually isn't here but take nothing away from the place, it is lovely

Scone Palace has a wonderful gardens area which we visit frequently. Dogs are most welcome, they even supply water bowls at the cafe! We always enjoy our time there.

And the peacocks mating display was beautiful.

Huge garden, nice place to seat and admire the sunny day. Palace outside make a really good impression. Inside a lot of photos and of course old furniture. Paintings I liked the most. Not necessary to make the inside tour if you're not a fan of this things.
