Scone Thistle Football Club Description

Scone Thistle F. C. are a Scottish junior football club based in Scone, Perth and Kinross. Their home ground is Farquharson Park and club colours are black and red.

Founded in 1882 Scone Thistle were originally members of the Perthshire Junior League until switching to the Juvenile (or Under 27) league after WW1.

After winning the Scottish Juvenile Cup in 1983 the club made the switch back to full Junior football and have been members of the Scottish Junior FA ever since.

Currently competing in the SJFA East Region's North Division the club are a major cornerstone of the Scone Thistle Community Club which runs teams at all age groups from 8 years plus coaching schools for younger players.
