SOTRG prides itself in providing quality and bespoke guiding and training in the mountain environment. We are providers of the Summer and Winter Mountain Leader Award as well as many other skill and qualification courses.

SOTRG is managed by Sandy Paterson who hold the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing qualification (WMCI). As well as Sandy you are likely to meet Ian Stewart and Dave Chapman if you join us for some training, both hold the WMCI and are experienced mountaineering as well as first class instructors.
With the whole of Scotland to choose from we can take you to some breath-taking places for your adventure.
