Scotland Overland

Our first-ever hard-shell tent has just been installed on one of our Defenders. The Ikamper is a fantastic new tent which opens in less than a minute (yes, really). See the proof here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgEE-4MaX 8o.
We've also invested in the awning and annex room. We'll be testing it out over the coming months, but already really impressed with it's quality and unique features.

Clients took a drone on their recent trip. This is what 3 nights in Scotland can look like when the sun is out.

With so many of our clients coming from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, we thought it only fair to return the complement and take our own holidays over there. Taking the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam, we then spent a week driving through both countries and into Luxembourg, and also stopping for a night in Germany on the way back.
Places we particularly loved were Maastricht (Netherlands), Dinant (Belgium) and Vianden (Luxembourg).
We're glad we took one of the Toyotas for its comfort and space. But we got our Land Rover fix when we found a rare Belgian-built Minerva Land Rover in Esch-sur-Sure, deep in the Ardennes.

Feeling deflated? Time to book a holiday.

Scotland Overland is now officially 6 years old. Which got us thinking about how many miles our various vehicles have covered in that time between them. We reckon about half a million.

Wow what a fantastic service. The equipment is first class. We had the awning as an extra and it was fantastic. Had a wonderful week of fun and stunning scenery. All we need to take was our clothes and food. Will definitely be booking for next year. Kerry and Duncan were lovely and informative.

What an amazing experience!!!! We have just returned from a 3 day trip driving across the most beautiful parts of Scotland thanks to Scotland Overland!!!! We experienced lochs,hills,beaches,vast terrain and fantastic people along the way all in three days with the amazing Land Rover that was equipped for every need and eventuality!! Thank you so much to Duncan who could not have helped us more with making our trip all we wanted!! Would highly recommend and already have trips planned for the future!

What a great holiday! Although windy and a little rain we were cosy and very well equipped, we are already discussing hiring two next year....think we've got ourselves a convoy!

We took a landrover with friends for a 9 day adventure was probably the best holiday we've had we love sun beaches and bars but never done something like this and wow was amazing the landrover is full kitted out beds comfy and the views and where you can go is brilliant we camped on beaches drove down a river to a lovely private place highly recommend it thanks see you again soon

Thank you for an amazing holiday on Mull. Kerry and Duncan have been excellent from start to finish. Landrover was very well equipped and the children enjoyed the adventure as did parents! Certainly will recommend to all.

Spent a fantastic 4 days in Scotland with wall to wall sunshine. The Landrover was superb, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Couple that with the brilliant service from Scotland Overland and you get a perfect holiday. Just returning to France from a week trip in the Highlands.

Despite some heavy rains which sometimes lead to funny situations having more water in pot than milk...but what an amazing experience and our 2 sons (12 & 9) loved it! Simply sleeping by lochs, or on beaches, by rivers....all in splendid landscapes where we met lovely people... "What else"?

They wanted me to drive it back to France instead of flying back !!!

We will highly recommend you to some friends, and will plan some more trips as there still so much to see....

Honeymoon June 2014

We had the most amazing time and when you said just bring your toothbrush and clothes, that's really all you need!

Very well equipped immaculate vechile-Duncan the owner is extremely helpful and friendly.

Thank you for providing the means for us to have a wonderful adventurous honeymoon, never to be forgotten, (the champagne was pretty good too!)
