Mission accomplished 🙂 After an early start (3.30) we had a wonderful day and the team managed the 45 miles in excellent time, well done. Thank you to everyone who sponsored us for the ScottishSPCA, and to the Pedal 4 Scotland people for organising it so well - the Scotch pies at Linlithgow were just the ticket. Nine members from the Scotmid Funerals team along with family and friends are taking part in Pedal for Scotland Classic Challenge. We're cycling the 45 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh on Sunday 9th September, to raise much needed funds for the Scottish Society For Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals.
Scotmid Co-operative has launched a partnership with SSPCA to raise money for this vital service , helping animals in need.
... The SSPCA as Scotland's animal welfare charity has been helping animals in need for over 175 years. Rescuing animals and nursing them back to health before finding them loving new homes or releasing them back into the wild.

Our Uddingston office recently helped out with some litter picking, organised by Uddingston Pride. Pictured here is David, from our Uddingston office, along with some members of Uddingston Pride, and students of Uddingston Grammar, who also took part. We were delighted to be involved with this positive project, and would like to say a huge well done to Uddingston Pride, and to all the students for their hard work in helping to keep the community tidy.

We recently attended the Clermiston and Drumbrae Children's Gala, which we were honoured to be part of, by using some of our fleet to chauffeur the royal courtiers. It was a fantastic day for the community and we were glad to see the sun shining for the event. Here are some photos from the day.
