About Scott Brothers Butchers

Scott Brothers Butchers is a family business established in 1935 by the Grandfather of the current owners, George and Scott Jarron.

Scott Brothers Butchers Description

Established in the Keillor Centre in Dundee in 1986, the Scott Brothers Butchers’ central Dundee shop moved into its busy Nethergate premises in 2009. Situated handily in the city centre, it has both takeaway and meat counters, making it easy for people to pop in at lunchtime for the perfect lunch, pick up something to make for tea, or order up that roast for the weekend.

Scott Brothers is a family-run, traditional butchers, with an emphasis on providing great-tasting locally sourced and well-treated meat and good old-fashioned customer service. The business was set up in 1935, by the grandfather of current owners George and Scott Jarron, and has grown with shops in Dundee and Broughty Ferry, enjoying the support of customers from all over Tayside, Perthshire and Fife.

We work closely with local farmers with well-reared and well-treated animals to source the best meat and treat it right – maturing it in-house for at least 21 days. Our beef from Brechin, pork from Arbroath, and lamb from Angus and Perthshire are all carefully sourced and prepared, meaning great-tasting results for our customers.
