Scott Brothers Butchers opened its first shop in beautiful Broughty Ferry in 1986, moving to bigger premises on Brook Street in 2011. This family-run business brings over 80 years of butcher know-how to providing local customers with great-tasting, locally sourced and carefully prepared meat, puddings, pies and ready-made meals.

The shop has separate take-away and meat counters, showing the wide range of tasty choices, and enabling customers to go for the quick lunch options or start planning delicious teas. And our staff are always happy to tell you more about any of the products, suggest recipes or find out your meal winners.

Established in 1935 by the grandfather of the current partners, Scott Brothers has expanded through its shops across Dundee and Broughty Ferry, working closely with local farmers, employing local people and serving customers from across Tayside, Perthshire and Fife.

We are committed to providing the best meat available to our customers, taking care it is treated well throughout the process from farm to plate, and as it is all sourced very locally we are proud to say it has a low carbon footprint too.
