Scottish Borders Leader Description

‘Like’ us to keep up to date with information on the 2014-2020 LEADER programme locally and across Scotland.

LEADER is an EU programme providing grassroots funding to support rural communities all over Europe.

The Scottish Borders has £3m available in the 2014 – 2020 programme to fund community, rural business /farm diversification and cooperation projects. Eligible projects should have a focus on Enterprising Communities and meet the priorities within our Local Development Strategy, which can be found on our website http://www. scottishbordersleader. co. uk /?page_id=1373.

Funding applications are assessed and approved by the Local Action Group, which is made up of stakeholders from business, voluntary and private sector organisations in the Borders. The LAG meets up to four times annually, application deadlines are posted here and on our website.
