Well a new club record was set here on Saturday after 14 year old Evan Skelhorn was sent solo on his birthday by our youngest Instructor Josh Reid. After only 43 flights with our instructors Evan was ready to take to the skies by himself. Congratulations Evan🎉🎉 British Gliding Association

Took these photos on Saturday of the salads on Donna's new menu. There were different options on Sunday, and empty plates all round.

Air experience flights tonight. North sea haar came in and "stalled" over the field for an hour. Colin Hamilton took this video clip from the tug. There was 3 knots of lift about 200-300m in front of the cloud as the cold sea air chiseled its way under the warmer air to the west.

Scottish Gliding Centre is a magical place that allowes you to eperience the best of gliding. In one day you can experience the best ridge flying, best thermals and before you finish the day you catch a wave to 11k feet!

I always sleep in in order the the the "full" experience and always be around great pilots. Will try bring my Italian friends for a go! Cheers A.V.

One of the best clubs in the UK and the best in Scotland! Friendly and helpful members.

Good place to learn the skills needed to become an X/Country pilot. Good value rooms available on site and a full time instructor available Monday- Friday who is bookable. What more do you need. If you make the effort anything is possible.

Friendly club with good facilities in a wonderful location. During the week we have managed to fly in ridge, thermal and wave. Highlight was a short but exciting flight in wave.

Amazing place! Loved every minute, would visit again.

A superb day and a wonderful flight in perfect conditions. A very patient instructor (Dave) gave me a reasonable understanding of what when and how and a fun descent playing with g-forces. Maybe one day I'll do it myself.
