'For 40 years now I have had the privilege of being a touring professional and have immensely enjoyed each and every tournament I have played in from St Andrews in Scotland to Singapore in the Far East. It is for this reason I am delighted to support the Scottish Golf Classic which aims to introduce the wonderful game of golf, not only to the established golfing nations of the world but also new countries such as Nigeria and Brazil.
Hosted at Fairmont St Andrews in the Home of Golf there can be no better place to enjoy the relaxed 5 star hospitality and challenging links golf. My very own Torrance Course, will I’m sure pose a great test for the amateur golfers and I wish each and every one of them all the best for what promises to be a great few days'.
