What a brilliant event!

Scottish Half Marathon 2017 you did yourself proud! :-)

Very well organised from start to finish, with a fantastic route & amazing support throughout.

Thanks for the lovely gift box at the end.

Very well presented, thoughtful & really appreciated. I'll see you next year!

User

Well organised, great scenic route and amazing local support . Will definitely do it again

User

Very well organised race. Great support. Medal and goody box were excellent

User

Very well organised from start to finish, great finishers box and a good flat wide open course. We will def be doing it again next year 👍🏻

User

Shuttle busses seemed to work well, nice medal and finishers box. The fairies had been out cutting back the hedging so could actually see the lovely coastal view. Volunteers all very encouraging a good we'll run race. Just wish I was able to run a bit better.

User

Loved the parking and shuttle bus for half well organised fantastic run

User

I loved everything about the Scottish Half Marathon event - it was well organised, friendly and enjoyable straight through. Loved the t-shirt, medal and goody box. Lovely flat course and we even had pleasant weather for running. Will definitely be back next year!

User

Great finisher box and very well organised! Crowd was lovely, lots of high fives from the kids. Great to finish at the race course, am used to pop up tents so felt very classy! Like the medals - and the tshirts! Had a great day!

User

Busses and parking well organised. Start and finish well organised. Good information on website. Great course. Water and gel supply was great. Timing worked perfectly. Helpful and friendly staff. Happy with my medal and t-shirt.. Faultless

User

Amazing experience. Much much more than a run. Very well organised. First time running a half marathon. Beautiful flat route. Very friendly supportive marshals, more water stops than expected and toilets at every water stop too. All roads closed off so no worries of traffic. Love the Scottish medal and the goody box was ace. Did get thrown a little by a 7km sign at only 2.5 k to go, must have been for the 10k race. A fun warm up is the only addition I'd welcome. Well done organising an unforgettable event for all the right reasons

User

Amazing course, super flat and very well organised :) wee presentation boxes are a lovely touch! See you next year!

User

Absolutely brilliant well worth doing. The surport you get is outstanding great bunch of people. Beautiful sighs done my first ever one and will do it next year

User

A brilliant event. So well organised from start to finish and after. A big thank you to all the East Lothian residents who came out to support and encourage all the runners.

User

This was a very well organised race. Loads of toilets, great route and water stations well manned. Bag drop easy no hassle collection no bother. Finish line was amazing great support and filtered us through to collect water and t-shirt really well. Last year medal issue was a bit of farce but I don't run for a medal, I run for the challenge. You really can't knock it as an event. Hence why I'm back again this.

User

Great HM route and lots of supporters along the way. The marshalls and staff were great. The finish was particularly good where supporters lined the finish which was great encouragement. I really like the medal but do agree that it would be nice to have the year on the T-shirt.

User

Did the 10k. Well organised, nice and flat. Only downside was getting home and finding they'd packed an XL t-shirt into the bags at the Small stand!

User

Flat and fast but very little crowd support. The medal was basically a keyring and very disappointing based on what last years was, although they did have them at the finish this year.

User

We went as supporters, for the very first time, and we were deeply disappointed with the very poor catering facilities. There was no proper food on offer, even though many people had a very early start. We queued for an hour, for a half-cold, inedible panini.

User

Poor event. As mentioned before by others, medals and T shirts are generic and don't even have a year on them. Medal was over a month late. Oh and one of the gifts in the finishers bag was a bottle of sun tan lotion. That'll be mighty handy as we head into October in Scotland aye!
