Excellent exhibition and welcoming staff. Unique. Delicious food and drinks, very kid friendly.

A good day out for the family with some very nice pieces. For someone who doesn’t know a lot about art, it was a nice walk around before a brownie and a coffee in the cafe.

Free entrance to see some beautiful modern works. It's not big but that is oké. Outside, in the gardens, there is more. I love art in open air.

Building 1 is free admission definitely worth visiting as the some of the exhibits are really exciting. Use the free shuttle (what a great idea. Simple and yet original. every 15 minutes) between galleries as is far from center.

I don't know a huge amount about art but I love going to the modern art galleries. There's usually a free exhibition and other work that you can see for few. There's also normally a paid one, sometimes two. The annual membership isn't expensive and is worth it if you are going to a couple of exhibitions a year and it gets you in to the other galleries in Edinburgh. Both buildings are in a great location, with parking, and have really nice grounds/gardens. Inside the layout is spacious with plenty of room to appreciate the exhibitions. The restaurant is excellent, with great food at a very reasonable price.

A pleasure to discover the unusual and the beautiful. Paolozzi's studio is a gem, that keeps giving insights into the mind of the artist. And then there's the cafes, great setting and great menu, but be prepared to pay a bit extra.

Lots to see. Obviously depends what's on but there's always something good. Beautiful grounds (if it's sunny). Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely museum (as always is the case with Scottish museums). Clean, well maintained. A bit small exhibition, but it makes up for it with the sculpture garden. Also, there is a way to waters of leith behind museum 1 which is worth walking on a nice day
