Just home from Production of Mozart's Don Giovanni in Aberdeen. Wow! What an amazing production. Top marks to all in involved. Special thanks go to Ross McInroy for his very interesting and informative insight to life as an opera singer for the freinds of Scottish Opera Lunch here in Aberdeen today and thanks to Anne for being the ever wonderful host!

Just been to see the Promenade version of Pagliacci in Paisley. It was a fantastic concept and I loved it. The singers were wonderful and I felt as if I was actually in it with them. The day was a lot of fun too. I do hope you will do more of this type of performance. Well done to everyone who took part.

I've been to 6 operas now and really enjoyed them all. Scottish opera pay great attention to all details and make the operas memorable with their style (like Macbeth set in modern times etc) even the smaller performances in Fort William were performed with enthusiasm and good skill. I'm looking forward to Rigoletto this year :-)

I just want to say thanks to the Scottish opera group who performed their show "the curse of the macabre opera house at muirhead primary school Troon today . It was a fantastic performance by the children and a big thank you to Alan who kept me a front row seat so I could see my girl perform and happy birthday Lucy hope you get your voice back soon . I just attended bambino baby opera in Heywood with my foster son who is registered blind and has cerebral palsy, his hearing is very sensitive and I really want to thank everyone for making us feel so very welcome and being so wonderfully inclusive today, we were invited along early so my foster son could have a touch tour of the set and props and hear some of the music and singing that he would hear in the show, we were reserved a seat that would suit his needs, told to pop in and out of the room as much as we needed to and everyone bent over backwards to make it a special experience for him. It's lovely to come to somewhere where every child is included and people are happy to adapt things so we can still join in and have the opportunity to enjoy something new . Unfortunately he didn't make it through the whole show but I feel he experienced lots of new "sights", touches and sounds, thank you very much, the show was lovely and so are all the people involved
