Scottish Public Services Ombudsman

I have e mails to many place to get there feedback on this so called service,i will divulge when replies come in.is it just another waste of money.

Made a complaint regarding Ambulance Service. Fully investigated and informed of every step
. Was published and again happy with that.

I would give this organization zero stars if I could. If you want justice for yourself don't bother going to them. I have been fighting medical issues for twenty three years now. Never have the SPSO found in my favour even though other doctors have been shocked by what has happened to me. It is my opinion that because the SPSO are semi legal if they found in your favour you can then sue who you are complaining about. My last complaint resulted in another woman's complaint being intertwined with mine and I also received her letters therefore the SPSO breached the Data Protection Act. Very, very unprofessional.

Genuinely believe this “public service” are in bed with large corporations especially power company’s. Waste of time.

A waste of public money. Put up a decision report on the internet which did not represent the facts of the case they investigated - which they didn't investigate correctly anyway. The SPSO is a reflection of the corrupt nature of Scottish politics.

Totally biased towards councils , you would think brown envelopes were flying about - corrupt !

Completely useless Like most "paid officials" they so they cannot deal with most things, when they can, they do nothing, clearly they are paid by government and in my view NOT independent, a total waste of tax payers money.
Are they, Understanding, NO, Fair, NO, Helpful, NO, about time Scotland had a real INDEPENDENT OMBUDSMAN with power, to cover all professionals, experts, charities, legal, councils, and to include MPs and MSPs.

Qango gov organisation which cant comment on anything .their claim is they cant get anyone any financial compensation or anyone sacked or discaplined ect ect .and check out the complaints stats against them only 6?.and of the 6 only one upheld .wow .,they say one thing and do another .they make it up as they go along ,Total incompetence in my experience .they give you long pages of excuses of lies made by big your local organisations as to why they made their( decisions) but not in your favour .they claim any recommendations they put before any organisation are implemented in almost every single case huh you must be having a laugh ,thats if you have your case upheld and if they have the power to put a special report to the scottish goverment if they the spso have enough concerns huh what a joke .its just basically collusion at its best

Only bothers to reply several months later when it suits her after the council make contacts with me.,What a coinsidense that is and her best excuse for not responding for several months was due to pressure and with workload wow poor sole .so the council didnt contact her prior to let her know that i had made contact with them about my complaint issues ,perhaps collusion once again .i will update soon after she has replied to my complaint on her investigation conclusions which im not happy about .

Actioned a complaint about an NHS nurse issue which was justified. Ombudsman Edinburgh will not be investigating the case despite lengthy detailed evidence. Whoever arrived at the decision is unfit for their purpose and obviously can't read nor take in things very well...In simple terms, incompetent ignorance.
