Scottish Seabird Centre

Beautiful location on the rocks at North Berwick. We had coffee and scones and choose to sit outside enjoying the sunshine and the sea views out to the Bass Rock.
It is of course primarily a seabird education centre but we have yet to venture past the coffee shop.

Just gets better year in year out. Great for kids - informative and funny interactive talks from staff and volunteers. Good food and relaxing atmosphere.

Great fun here, better for younger ones I think though... Once they'd had a look through the live cameras & upstairs to look out at the islands using binoculars, it was time to go to shop. Which has a great variety of stuff from £1.50 upwards. Then we had a bite to eat from the Seabird Centre Cafe which was absolutely delicious, same as last year! We had scampi, mmmm & kids eat all of their sausages chips & beans! The Staff here from Shop to Cafe to the Reception where u book Seafari Tickets! were so nice & friendly... Catamaran trip is a must...

First class service from all staff in this fantastic cafe/restaurant. Served by Emma, who was brilliant with my little dog. Amazing views...A few years ago I remember seeing a picture of the Bass Rock for sale in a gallery in Brighton. It was huge, and had a price tag of £9000! Coming to the Seabird Centre gives you that view for free. It is so impressive, and simply stunning on the rainy day when I visited. I enjoyed my meal watching the light change over the Bass Rock.

All brilliant. Clean, friendly staff, dog friendly, amazing views, and a shop with a 7ft high Puffin. North Berwick is blessed to have this treasure of a centre. It is the heart of this blissful little seaside town.

Very interesting live camera coverage of nesting seabirds. Good displays and interactive models.

We stopped here for lunch great menu for adults and children. Also dog friendly so our whole family were welcome.

I love the service here, they go a step further and show where the money goes. It's really nice how cameras are set for a live stream on the remote islands etc. Annual boat tides head to craigleith to maintain the puffin population. The shop and cafe is wonderful with great staff

We only visited the shop and café. 2 lattes £5 but they were nice. Lovely outside decking area with beautiful views.
