On tour with 2 lovely people from Oz. Overnight in Oban on 5 November. Fireworks over the harbour and lovely local crowd.
Just back from visiting the Angus area of Scotland. Some fascinating places including Arbroath Abbey and the Pictish stones at St Vigeans. Nice weather too!

A lovely day in Royal Deeside. River Dee very low but Linn of Dee still impressive.
Lovely evening walk by the Spey admiring Thomas Telford’s wonderful bridge at Craigellachie. Touring with the McAllisters and tomorrow heading for some distilleries. Life is hard!

Been meaning to visit this cairn which marks the spot from where Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) sailed away after the disaster of Culloden in 1746. Finally managed it today while clients took the Jacobite Train from Mallaig to Fort William. A suitably sad bit of weather!
Fabulous day on Raasay with a visit to the new distillery.
