We’re all set up and ready for the festival today in Kuldiga, Latvia. Everyone very much looking forward to a great day ahead showcasing Scotland and all our local talent.

Learning about the Latvian Suiti community today on our trip. Similar to the Scottish, they take great pride when crafting their traditional costumes, whilst drone-singing as they work.

After hosting our friends from Estonia at this year’s Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, we are delighted to have brought 30 Aberdeenshire pipers, dancers, skippers, singers, musicians and crafters to Estonia for the Kurgifestival where we also met up with our Latvian friends. We’ve had a great day as you can see! 🥒🎶🎻🥁 🇪🇪 🏴 🇱🇻
