Continuing our weekly series today were introducing you to our management team at Scott's Largs!
The Team Comprises of;
... General Manager Nicola -🙋♀️ An animal lover at heart nicola volunteers her spare time outside of work at a local dog school. Her pride and joy is her gorgeous golden retrievers. Nicola's favourite part of Buzzworks is raising money for charity all year round and the all the customers she serves every day.
Deputy Manager Jaimie 🙋♂️ A man of the finer things Jaimie collects shoes with his favourites being his Brockman's which he wears to work. Jaimie once also had an espresso with Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters! Jaimie enjoys looking after our regular visitors in work and is always happy to go the extra mile.
Assistant Manager Jonny (JD) 🙋♂️ JD has recently returned from a short break in Ireland and like Nicola is a lover of dogs! His favourite thing about work is the people he meets, both staff and customers.
Assistant Manager Ciaran 🙋♂️ Ciaran is a car fanatic and loves to go to different car events around the country in his time off. At work Ciaran loves to train staff and ensure all customers recieve the highest level of service.
And Head Bartender Lawrence 🙋♂️ A man of many talents Lawrence loves all things alcohol related. He enjoys exploring different upcoming restaurants and bars to find new exciting things to try out. Within his work he enjoys chatting to customers and providing drinks that blow them away.

We had an impromptu stop there and have to say the staff were lovely, welcoming and very polite and always asking if we needed anything. Very quick delivery of the meal which was exceptionally scrummy. Would definitely say this made our top 5 restaurants. Will be back. xx
Took my mum for lunch it was delicious and the staff are all so friendly service is great lovely place to go
My first visit to Scotts today & definitely not my last! Had a delicious lunch which was served very quickly on piping hot plates. The staff were friendly and courteous and despite the promptness of the service, we were never made to feel rushed. Absolutely excellent!
My family and I came in yesterday for Breakfast, it was all lovely, staff were very nice and helpful, definitely go again
Having dinner with family. Lovely place , view of marina . Food is delicious . I loved my trio of fish ...Staff are friendly and attentive. Recommended.
Great food I. Nice surroundings. Staff were vet attentive but not too much, just the right balance. After making the booking by phone I revived a confirmation text with a booking reference how good is that. Dime but extremely effective and ensures that when you arrive you are attended to speedily. All in all a great lunch

Excellent as usual . Booked in Hsooy hour and had an amazing three course meal for the price . Started with mussels in garlic and cream , followed by trio of sea bass hake and salmon . Finished with passion fruit cheesecake . Was absolutely delicious. Hubby had coconut prawns and posh fish and chips again as it was so good the last time . Staff were very attentive topping up our wine from the cooler . A fabulous meal out
Eat today. Exceptional service and fantastic food. Lovely surrounding. The kind of restaurant that could cater for all occasions- formal to informal. Will definitely return.
Despite not pre booking and how busy it was we had an excellent meal, with friendly smiling service, thank you, we will be back.
Amazing place amazing food and awesome staff!! Went in with my mum and 6 year old son yesterday and perfect service and perfect food! Will defo be back, couldn’t believe the bill either 👍👍👍

I had the Cullen Skink (excellent taste cooked right .. flaking the fish a little more would be only improvement .. worth a try)
Lasagne Scottish style with lots of cheddar and Beschamel sauce not noticeable and served with Chips. Nicely presented and really tasted good !
We pop by probably once or twice a month.
I love the place the staff make a great effort and are freindly and the food is lovely.
Lovely restaurant and food was nice although we did have to wait over an hour for our main courses.....seated for 20.45 with starter served at 21.00 but never received our mains till after 22.00 .... Was very busy though x
Great deal 2 courses for £12, lots of choice and good sized portions, definitely worth a visit. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed the food . Sat outside as weather was gorgeous and was dog friendly too!
We booked a table for 6.30 on a Saturday as we were having dinner with my 2 young daughters. We had 4 mains and 2 desserts, and it was 8.40ish when we left. I’m all for relaxed dining, but this was service at a snails pace. This is a complaint I have heard often about Scotts at Largs and yet things don’t seem to get any better. And the staff were slightly on the brusque side. I also take issue with the description ‘seafood restaurant’ . The seafood/fish menu is minimal and uninspiring.
Booked a table for 1900 on Saturday granted we arrived a tad early 1900 came and gone and had to ask twice for our table, seated 1915. Meal was delicious although sauces for steaks and a portion of whitebait had to be asked for 3 times because waitress didn’t write it down, my brothers side of onion rings consisted of 3 tiny rings in batter. The place was rammed and heard a waiter say to the next table “the food wont be long the kitchen are really busy” pretty pathetic really. Don’t accept bookings if your not up to the challenge of the service required!!
The service has improved and the staff were so pleasant and smiling. My starter of prawn tempura was mostly batter. Had to search for the prawns. I then had a 6oz fillet steak and asked for it cooked medium rare. Sadly it was over cooked and bland. This came with frozen pencil thin chips, 1 largish mushroom and 1 largish deep fried onion ring and 4 cherry tomatoes. When the waiter asked a few minutes after delivering this dish, how was my meal I replied fine thank you. I hadn't cut into the steak at that point and figured if the steak was cooked to my liking I could forgive the rest of the dish. Realised very quickly it wasn't the way I had asked for it to be cooked but chose not to say anything as we didn't have time for a replacement steak to be cooked. I've eaten better at Wetherspoons for less than half what I paid for this. Very disappointing.
My pudding was lemon meringue with raspberry sorbet. This was plentiful and delishious.
The 2 stars are for the friendly staff and pudding. I certainly expect more for the price.

Online 'happy hour'. I got a minuscule portion of spaghetti carbonara- I honestly think there were 2 little bits of bacon/ ham in it ... so a tad dissapointing. Similarly the pudding was lovely but small - half a strawberry & the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever seen ..... but lovely staff & nice atmosphere - just have yourself a snack st home before opting for the 40% off deal
