I Bought a car from this garage about a week ago and would not buy a vehicle from them again. I received terrible service from multiple members of staff and had numerous issues with the vehicle that I bought.

The car had been MOT'd by the garage for a full 12 months yet I experienced multiple issues with it. The main issues were grinding when braking and rubbing when I turned the car full lock. These issues arose after just one day of owning the vehicle which left me wondering how well they inspected the vehicle during its MOT.

I took the car back the next morning only to be met with what I felt like was sheer arrogance and rudeness from some members of staff. They took the vehicle in for inspection and claimed I would have the car back by late afternoon. I then received a phone call from the garage claiming that my vehicle was ready to be picked up later that afternoon and when I queried what was wrong with the vehicle, I was told that 'My brake discs were highly corroded and my break pads were at bare minimum.' The lady then went onto tell me that they have replaced all front and back discs and pads and that the issue was now resolved which I was glad about.

I headed into the garage and picked up the keys and test drove it in the car park to make sure that the problems were fixed. The grinding when braking was gone but the rubbing when I turned the car full lock was still there. I went back into the garage and told the receptionist that the rubbing issue still isn't resolved only to be met with what I felt like was disbelief. She turned to whom I believe was one of the directors who did not seem to acknowledge my issue and claimed that there was no problem with the vehicle as they just fitted 4 new discs and pads and that he had just finished test driving it. After a heated exchange he took the keys and test drove it again and then took it back into the garage where him and a mechanic looked at it The issue turned out to be plastic rubbing the wheel.

After sometime the mechanic came out and apologized for the issue but the man who I had dealt with was nowhere to be seen. I really appreciated the mechanics apology but would have appreciated an apology from the man I dealt with.

All in all in my opinion a terrible buying experience from start to finish and for who I believe was a senior member of staff to act the way he did shocked me.

A little more courtesy would go a long way.
