Sean Cockburn Blacksmith Thistle Forge

Forgot to post about this at the time but here are some pictures from when i was invited to the royal garden party a few months ago. I was told i was put forward by one of the depute lord lieutenants for some of my blacksmithing work in midlothian that promotes visitors to come to midlothian. It was pretty interesting also they had some nice food. Also i remember they had armed guards at every entrance and also police on top of the buildngs scanning the area with binoculars lol Also i seen the queen for about 15 seconds before she dissapeared into the crowd of people.

Yet more thistles, this time these are for the world war 1 memorial in haddington.

Some thistles posted out a few weeks ago. One went to Oban and the other all the way to New Zealand, the furthest any of my metalwork has travelled so far :-)

A leafy candle holder i made as a quick gift for a birthday. It could do with a bigger candle but thats what i had at the time.

Some roses i finished up the other week :-)
