I am a member of SCMA (Scottish Childminding Association).

I am a member of the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) and my husband has an Enhanced Disclosure.

I have completed my certified Introduction to Childminding Training with SCMA.

I have completed certified training with East Lothian Council relating to Fire Safety, Risk Assessments and Creating a Stimulating Play Environment.

I have undergone training in Risk Management, Fire Risk Assessment and Health and Safety, I have various Accountancy qualifications and a degree in Business Management.

My childcare service takes place in my family home which is a lovely detached 3-storey new build town house, within a quiet cul-de-sac in Prestonpans.

The whole ground floor is dedicated to my child care service, the upper floors are used for family accommodation.

My Registration with SCSWIS (Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland) allows me to care for 7 children aged between 0 and 16 years, this is inclusive of my own children.

My usual working hours are Monday to Friday 7. 30am - 6. 00pm. I am aware, however, some families may require my service out with these times, I am happy to be as flexible as possible to meet your individual needs.

I am based in Prestonpans, East Lothian, however, am happy to care for children from any area if you are able to drop off and collect your children from my family home.

I have a full, clean driving license and have a 7 seater car which allows me the opportunity to offer a nursery /school drop off and collection service to and from Prestonpans nursery, Infant and Primary Schools.

I use the car to offer children local outings; Vogrie Park, Dalkeith Country Park, the beach and soft play are all favorites! "Special trips" are also planned throughout the year; Butterfly World, Links Farm and the Seabird Centre in North Berwick are very popular choices as is Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Castle and visits to other historic buildings for the older children.

I am happy to provide healthy option meals for your children, alternatively if you prefer you can bring your own food which I will serve at meal times. All children will be provided with healthy snacks and drinks.

All checks on my property are up to date and approved by SCSWIS and Lothian and Borders Fire Brigade.

For children who require a day nap, I have a travel cot, double buggy (suitable from birth) and single buggy available for their use.
