Self Catering Scotland - The Old Exchange

Self Catering Scotland - We have just returned from a lovely break at the Old Exchange and have had a really enjoyable time. The accommodation is clean and perfectly designed for self catering use, the location is very convenient for exploring this part of the country and I have fallen in love with Castle Douglas. The folk are friendly, the food is excellent and the park in the middle of town is so pretty. If you are looking for self catering in Scotland I would imagine that the Old Exchange is perfect for you.

My family had the great pleasure of staying at Rockcliffe Suite at the Old Exchange.

We arrived very late, but nothing was a problem to the owner who helped us find our way around in the dark. We woke to stunning views across the gentle farmland that surrounds The Old Exchange.

These are lovely holiday cottages in Scotland and we will be back again soon.

My family really enjoyed a short break in an area of Scotland we love. We stayed at the Old Exchange just to escape for a few days. The accommodation is very tidy and comfortable, with lovely views over the gentle farmland that surrounds the accommodation.

Self catering in Scotland does not get better than this !
There are 4 accommodations at the Old Exchange and we rented 2 of them so that both my friends family and my own could have a week together. It worked really well, because although we were close to each other, we both had independance from each other. I would recommend this self catering accommodation to any groups of families that want to meet together on a holiday in Scotland. And the beaches were fantastic !
