About Semnai

The SEMNAI were the pre-ancient Greece sister goddesses tasked to reconcile man's incivility against man; The instruments of war certainly qualify under their remit. With an estimated 110, 000, 000 landmines in 64 countries and over 160, 000 square kilometres contaminated in Ukraine alone, it would take more than 1100 years (assuming no further landmines were laid) to clear. SEMNAI is humanitarian technology designed to fundamentally change landmine and UXO clearance from the dangerous, 100-year-old manual, labour-intensive and cost-ineffectual methodology to a highly efficient, safe, remote multi-phase platform. Leveraging AI and Machine Learning to build a penultimate database of all known ordnance reaching back to WWII combined with GPR, GIS Mapping and cutting-edge SPEX technologies (a combination of remote sensing spectroscopy and polarimetry) SEMNAI will establish "profit-centre driven morality in aerospace". Recognising that our remediation efforts will invariably displace locally contracted demining personnel, our business model includes ESG and SDG models to reinvest 10% of contract values into microloans (inspired by the Yunus Foundation) for agriculture and hydrology redevelopment.
