What can I say. Our disabled son went missing and ALL the staff were brilliant. Dropped everything to help look for him. We are so grateful for all their help. Would recommend this park to everyone to try. Thank you all again from the bottom of out hearts

We were here at the Touring pitches & the best so far! We only got our caravan last year but this break away was lovely, they are the friendliest staff I've met at a Haven holiday & nothing is any trouble to them. Top class touring staff!!

User

We love this place and even though the weather was a bit on the" Beastly" side, there was still plenty to do. Staff are always friendy and welcoming. The caravans are always cleaned to the highest standard. When we arrived on Monday afternoon it was a freezing cold day and we had trouble switching on the heating. But after a phone call to reseption someone came within 15minues to fix it. And even though he was soaked and tired after a long day, he was still quite chirpy and friendly. Food in the restaurant is A+. And the shop on-site has everything you could possibly need as well as some lovely little souvenirs and gifts to take home. All in all 10/10. Brilliant time, thank you very much Haven

We got of to a rocky start over checking in times with 2 disabled kids. But they rest of the holiday was brilliant and they couldnt do enough for the boys and i. Swimming pool is lovely, lots of activities. Beautiful walks and loved the beach. In fact intend to go back next month for a long weekend.

Thanks Seton Sands for giving us lovely memories.

User

I had another good weekend at Seton Sands holiday village with the grandchildren. They enjoyed the pool and fun things to do.the food was very good also.

User

Great place only there for a couple of days caravan was great like being home from home only nigle we reported alarm for continuse beeping reported but nobody checked it out and the security was poor as we walked in and out and never once asked for pass not even in bar or restaraunt

User

Absolutely the best Haven park by far! The professional staff, very clean, efficiently run site is exceptional. I have been to many Haven sites and this one stands out from the rest. It is a class above the rest. The holiday makers are very friendly. I will be back!

We visited last week and had a lovely weekend. Have to heap praise on young Andrew in the Boatie Blest who went out of his way to see we had what we needed. Thank you Andrew.

Also, thank you to the person who handed my HTC phone into reception having found it on the large deck chair around dinner time on Sunday 8th July. Saved me a whole lot of hassle.

We stayed Wednesday 28th for 1 night in the touring area with a tiny caravan. The fully serviced pitch was great. I didn't like being woken to the road sweeper sitting with it's engine running for 30 mins from 8:30am adjacent to my pitch then at 8:50 cleaning the streets around us. I went to the shop and returned to make breakfast. As I sat to eat, the sweeper returned making more unessary noise sweeping the already clean streets. After 15.mins it left to sweep the status caravans near us. There are also ground works taking place in the field next to the tourers so there was noise all day. We packed up and left.

User

Nice clean caravan park with lovely pool. Plenty of amenities, nice restaurant and friendly helpful staff. Small criticism is size of show bar could do with being a bit bigger as quite cramped for the amount of people

Brilliant resort! First day here we were met by welcoming staff and the information was good on how to get around and what was on in the club house. We got to our caravan however there was no number on it. Which granted is'nt a major issue as it was clearly pointed out on the map by the lady at reception and fairly obvious. So the caravan itself was cleanish... we found a nut wedge inbetween the cushions.

It can stay there. None of us have a nut allergy.

Went the Boatie Blest Restraunt.

Now heres a few of my pet hates... I am a chef myself so know how things should be.

You go in there and find your own table... fair enough. However when I asked a member of staff if that was the case she looked at me like I should know this already. (Bit rude) You have to que to order food and drinks. Which is also fair enough however it was a bit busy so they could've done with more staff. I paid 30 odd quid for a kids meal which consisted of chargrilled burger, one leaf of lettuce and one solitary slice of tomato. Chip's and beans. That went down ok as my little boy was'nt fussed about the salad. My wife and I ordered sticky BBQ salad which sounded really nice. However what came was disappointing! 3 leafs of baby gem lettuce, loads of quartered tomatoes, a cold peice of chicken which was in no way covered in the stick bbq we had imagined. Oh and some grilled bacon (cold) side garnish (possibly from breakfast) and ceasar dressing?

What we expected was a nice tossed, salad with maybe some cherry tomatoes and the chargrilled bbq chicken on top with crispy bacon strip a maybe a light vinaigrette. # just a sggestion. The thing that really annoyed me was they had left the stalk in the lettuce. Pretty miserable looking and tasting meal. So i'd say a bit of fine tuning on the meals please. The chefs look proffessional back there in the boatie kitchen however there food says otherwise. I was tempted to go through and speak to the kitchen manager but first impressions made me think complaining may not get us anywhere. I did have a lovely burger there yestarday so that gave me hope. The entertainment for the kids is brilliant though and its free. My son whos 10 loved it. Swimming pool is brilliant too. I do recommendations this place you just need to sort out the food.

We only visited for the day and first thing we done was went in search of a toilet to b met by a toilet full of toilet roll ends and broken compartments suppose to keep it all in..and the smell. Well anyway. We were hungry. Sat in the restaurant looked at the menu amd new it was expensive. We orderd our food with a jug of water obvs evry1 food fine except my £10.29 butterfly chicken burger which i grudged ordering but felt like nothing else on their...to my dismay the chicken was dry and the bacon was just burnt to a crisp and freezing cold. Cant even think how they can justify £10.29 for this meal we booked for july 16th - 20th with our new baby due in june and already we aprehensive about how we going to entertain the older 2 kids for 5 days.

User

Service is slow to non existent.Asked in owners lounge to turn tv to football only to be told twice that "i don't work this side.Someone will be with you soon" by two different people.30 minutes later still waiting!!Managed to find stevie the touring warden who changed it within seconds.Other reviews comment on how staff are not interested once they have your money!I tend to agree

User

Great location and caravan and swimming pool and entertainment , Although restaurant was dire and the whole complex seems to be totally running on a lack of staff (Altho the staff there were doing there best and running about !)

User

Accommodation is great and the activities for the kids is brilliant. Staff are pleasant and very helpful including the security team.

The prices are what you expect from resort from Haven-over the odds for what you can get elsewhere for half the price.

They unfortunately have a policy of only catering for visitors from further afield and have a policy of not stocking locally, that is Scottish, produced products which is highly disappointing.

User

We've had a mixed time here at Seton Sands. We found staff at the bar, reception pool and entertainment area all very welcoming & helpful. The pool area is clean, the facilities are good for all ages & our 3 boys will rave about the site I'm sure.

However....our caravan was dirty when we arrived (cigarette butts outside, floors not swept & no toilet roll provided)...they did clean it but only after I asked twice!!

The vans are sparse with regards to utensils etc.. only one sharp knife, no dustpan & you have to bring everything!! Tea towels, dishcloths etc. Don't expect to walk in to ANYTHING!

And finally my main gripe was The Boatie Blest (on site restaurant & bar)..i never saw it clean! Every table needed wiping, the floor was covered in food no matter what time you came in. Not enough staff at the bar...it's a shame because the food was actually quite good, although we sent 3 dishes back as they were so meagre with the portions!

On site activities were really expensive. £5 for 5 minutes on the bungee trampoline!!!??? Obviously we didn't pay for that.

** a curry and/or chilli on the menu would be brilliant too!

Such a lovely location it's a shame the site lets itself down like this.

Took my 3 kids for the Easter holidays, one of my kids are severely disabled so we arrived and I noticed the water pipe was broken so we went to the office to be told someone would come and have a look and repair which was fair enough but nobody appeared so went back down to be told the same thing as we have no water at all. Then night time came and no one had arrived I phoned my husband to let him know as he was away with work so he phoned and got security to come around which they kindly gave us some bottle water which no staff in the office offered until I said we were leaving, so the next day went back to the office still being told same thing so waited again and close to night time repair man came and said it needed a new pipe and he was putting us on a priority list so waited again and no one came. 3rd day me and my kids was left without water so I phoned the head office to be told it was going to be a week before repairs could be done by a woman with a severe attitude problem I went back to the office and they confirmed it would be a week. Then there was the problem with privilege cards to which discount applies so the manager at the restaurant refused to apply it because I didn’t have my privilege card due to the machine being broke within the office same with the go kart I rented for my older children the staff were not pleasant or polite about this carol from the office had to come around and have a word with the restaurant manager to apply discount. Me and my children went 3 days without water to which resulting in me having to have my mum come down to help us get back home because the hubby was away with the big car my daughters disabled buggy fits in. Cried all the way home as our Easter holidays was ruined. And I wanted to give my children a nice time which resulting in a disaster.
