How does it work? There are no membership or table cover charges : ) As long as you've got a receipt, you can take a seat!
Settlers Hamilton Description
We opened Lanarkshire’s games and comic book café in 2014.
We’re a meeting place, a club, a family dining room; we’re an afternoon treat, a pick-me-up, a second home; we’re a place to play games, a comic signing venue, a costume party; we’re a place to meet new people, a place to break the ice, a place to meet old friends. At Settlers we’re a community and all of the above.
So how does it work? There’s no charge to sit down and use our services. No membership, table fee or other catches. As long as you have a receipt, you can take a seat and are welcome to use our facilities including free wifi and tabletop games archive.
You don’t need to be Neil Armstrong to set foot in our shop. You just need to be willing to pop in and see what Settlers can do for you. If you have any questions, click Contact Us above and we’ll get back to you shortly.

Time: 12 noon registration for a 1pm start
Cost: £5
... Prizes: - Each player will receive 1 current OTS pack at the end of the tournament regardless of how they place - For every player in the tournament 0.5 boosters of the most recent set go into the prize pool with the top half of players receiving this prize each week.
Format: Advanced Constructed (ban list here: http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/). The tournament will last no longer than 3 rounds regardless of player turn-out with no top cut.

Went through yesterday for a Pokemon Pre-release and had a great time. The staff are great and they have a fantastic range of other games to purchase and play. Finally finding the first epic spell wars set after months of searching really made my whole month!
Went out of interest after learning they were holding an evening for Lightseekers and felt welcome from the moment I entered the place. Played quite a few games of Lightseekers and got chatting with someone else about the game. Didn't get a chance to try the food but felt like I would go broke trying everything available.
Went in one day and I was told off about my hygiene. This was a wake up call for me and I have cleaned up my act(and myself). I now have a wife and 3 lovely kids and could not be happier. Thanks settlers
Took my wee boy in here to learn more about pokemon and how to play. Sven to a lot of time to sit and go through how to play the game and also showed me how to do the same. Patient and thorough with my son and me. These guys are cool. Will defo be visiting again!!!
The most welcoming bunch of people! Teaching me how to play Mtg, couldnt be more patient or friendly! Good food and incredible atmosphere! Love everything about the place!
The best place to chill with great games, great company and great food, I have immensely enjoyed every visit to this fantastic store, all drafts and events are well organized and insanely enjoyable and if you ever need a hand with anything or just want to chat, the amazing staff will always be there ready for you.
If you haven't been yet, then just get yourself down there, it really is the place to be for games, comics and an overall fantastic time. Here's to many more successful years. :)

Settler’s is a fantastic a welcoming place for gamers of all ages.
It was the attention given to me as a new customer to talk me through strategies and combos on my first ever visit that made me take the plunge and turn up one week to play dicemasters with people I’d never met. The staff’s welcoming ethos spreads to their customers and I’ve been making the effort to drive through from Glasgow each week to take part in the variety of formats and have got to know a variety of lovely people as a result.
The shop is always well lit, well maintained with good accessible routes to all facilities. The food & drink range are perfect sustenance to keep the energy up whilst playing or blethering.
Staff are always knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to asking about the large stock of comics and games. They are also great at supporting games with organised play and responding to customer interests, so that there is now an organised weekend HeroClix meet up and a variety of stock to support it.

Settlers is probably the best place I've ever been. The staff are fantastic and always make you feel right at home, the food is great and the games archive is full of great games. Honestly if you need a little time out or want to play the day away Settlers it the place to be
Owner and ALL staff are attentive and welcoming, they strive to provide excellent service and food. They are always to nearly always stalked up on products and will endeavour to get any thing in they do not have at that time. I have been there a few times and they always have amazing deals in the cards I go for.
Myself and boyfriend love Settlers. We keep bringing new people with us and they end up loving it aswell! Especially the toasties, they're very highly rated with us! :D The staff are friendly, hard working and always happy to help. It's great to see them helping parents understand Pokemon games and such for their kids. The staff will play with the kids and the parents learn, the kids always have a blast. They're very much a community but not in a stand offish way in the slightest. After buying Star Wars Destiny they recommended that we join their Star Wars Destiny group page to meet more people we could play with. They have various community pages, there's something for everyone. They couldn't be a more welcoming bunch!
I love this, I can drop off my bf off and know he is enjoying himself rather than drag him round the shops.
But seriously, been in a few times and always been made welcome. Management are dead friendly and the coffee and cakes are delicious.
I have been here many times for card/board games. The staff are very friendly and approachable and over come any issues / queries to the best of their ability. I will continue to be a valued customer of settlers and wish all the best business for the future
Great store. Wide range of products and some of the most helpful and friendliest staff around. Food is good and reasonably priced too! Definitely recommend!
Great place for a coffee, cake and a game of whatever you play. My kids can spend hours here and you can play any of the games free so fun for the family plus free wifi.
Great fun for learning new games...card games and board games...and when you can't understand the rules then shaz is there to help you. Food is brilliant too..sandwiches..toasties, pizza pockets..home made cakes and also Coffee..plus a large section of games and comic books on sale...
Great Place, Great food, Great cakes, Great service, Great atmosphere. All around a brilliant we cafe, and a great place to spend your day!
First time in settlers with my son, who is pokemon daft, I was blown away with how patient, friendly and helpful the staff are! Thank you so much. Also to the other tournament players who were just as patient and helpful to my son as it was his first tournament. Amazing place, great people �xxx
Fantastic service. I have an 7 year old boy who loves Pokemon. I had pop in a while back to get some cards & was told about the days where the kids could come & learn how to play the game correctly. Since then my son has been down twice to learn the game. Every time we have been in the shop we have received fantastic service, from the team taking time to show the kids how to play, getting advice on which cards would be best to purchase. They even spent time talking & playing with my 2 year old. I would highly recommend this place & will definitely be back with my kids.
