We're still here, we're just taking a break. Finding a suitable venue in Edinburgh that'll accommodate an MMA event is terribly difficult and continuing to subsidise the financial loss when using a smaller venue isn't sustainable.
Thomas Hepburn won the last SFC competition and will shortly be setting of on an all expenses paid week long training camp at Tiger.
A special thanks to Graeme Beveridge at RG Autotech for contributing to this trip. We like to think we're still one... of the most geneous promotions in Scotland, this is the second time we've funded an experience and the feedback has been amazing.

It has been brought to my attention that former SFC director Rob Crumb has sadly lost his battle to cancer.
My involvement in the SFC came at a time when Rob wanted to exit due to ill health and unfortunately I never got to meet him formally.
I feel it is important to acknowledge his passing on the SFC page as he helped create the promotion. He is refereeing in the picture.

UFC Fighter Steven Ray had to return his belt prior to SFC being under new ownership. He's asked for a replacement so we thought we'd help him out and present it to him this Saturday.

SFC 13 will be the first event to host no-gi grappling competitions in between MMA bouts.

Hepburn and Jessimer both have impressive win records and will fight for an all expenses trip to week long Tiger Muay Thai in Thailand.
Due to the limited number of fighters and their availability it has been decided that instead of making fighters wait for prizes or belts we will make every attempt to offer 1 trip to Thailand per show or every two shows. This will undoubtedly benefit the development and careers of some fantastic athletes.
SFC 14 in September will feature a previous winner or winner from SFC 13 to fight for a trip to Thailand. Every effort will be made to offer winners the opportunity continually over time.

Today we booked SFC 11 "Fighter of the night" Christopher Duncan on an all expenses paid trip to Thailand.
Chris will fly to Phuket in January and spend two weeks training at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Camp. He will be given unlimited access to all classes, accomodation and food for the entire duration of his stay.

... This prize is the first of it's kind in the SFC and is being offered to winners of the 2017 Championships. Chris extended his stay by one week after raising funds on a Just Giving page. In addition to generous donations by friends and family Graeme Beveridge from RG Autotech gave handsomely to the fund.
