Ordered LAMB TIKKA with my friends, non of us liked the taste ,also the price is not reasonable

The price is reasonable, but the food quality not very good !

Been going here for years. Lovely food.

Dunno why it's rated 3.1. Definitely a 4.3.
Ordered two days in a row as a new customer and was banging everytime!
Lamb bhuna extra spicy and large piluo rice is gangster.

I ordered food for the first time but was disappointed cos no salt in food. Poor quality, should have stick to my usual place

very bad. maybe since am Indian, was expecting good Indian food. But it was no where close to Indian taste. Not going to go again.

Wow. These reviews are totally polarised. I guess I've always caught them on a good day because the food is magic and the guy running the place is a dude. They use a lot less ghee than most Indian takeaways so you don't end of feeling too full. Downside is there's never any leftovers for the next day.

Guys, Never go to this takeway, one of the worst take away in the UK. I ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani and Madras Chiken. The Chick Biryani with full of Oil and you can easily see they used that oil for fry earlier and used the same oil in Biryani, my wife picked up rice in her hand and squeezed and you can see the Oil it just keep dropping like water. Madras Chicken was just with Chiily Powder without boiling it as you can smell raw Chilly powder smell. Compared to other take away's like Curry Cafe this take away is over priced. I will never go to this guys again and will never recommend to my friends.

Shapla is by far one of the best Indian take aways I have had. We use it often and have never been disappointed. Lovely food and lovely people
