Went to the Glasgow City Centre branch tonight for a takeaway change after seeing a write up about it on Glasgow Live. Firstly, turns out I've driven past it numerous times and didn't know anything about it! Secondly, the man who was the chef (don't know if he owns it or not but no matter the chef he was) was so personable with us. He could tell with the way we were looking and talking about the menu that it was our first time in the takeaway and he was great in talking through things with us and spoke about what his favourite was - sounded delish so we went with that; 2 chicken shawarma, 1 regular, 1 large. When we went in there was one other person in it but about 2 mins later the place was full to bursting! (think we were just lucky when we went in). This didn't phase the chef one bit and he even gave us a burger box with plain chicken meat for our wee boy to try on one side and on the other there was lamb meat and chicken meat with 2 sauces on it for us to try. Honestly nice touch was this! Have to say at this point we'd scoffed the lot of the taster meat and were eager to get tucked into our order and we honestly didn't have long to wait, just a few mins. And finally thirdly, even though I've already kinda gave the game away with talking about the chicken and lamb we were given to try, the food is simply flavourful, unpretentious and 1st class. It's like no other kebab we've tasted and I think it may have ruined kebabs locally for me as I'll constantly compare them to this. If I could I'd give this place 6 stars. Thank you Shawarma, will be back again! :-)

Went in last Friday night to new Paisley shop. Had lamb shawarma, baba ghanoush, Hummous with Lamb. It was freshly made and all of it was authentic and tasty.



Popped in tonight again after phoning in my order. Went for BBQ chicken starter, lamb fillet wrap and a Kurdish Kebab main meal. Absolutely delicious and massive portions. The guys put in all sorts of salad and accompiaments .



This place is busy just now, wait to see it when word spreads. I mean, you will not be disappointed. Food, staff, cleanliness of shop. Outstanding.

Went in for my Tea ( Paisley) as Wife is out and had the mixed Shawarma Chicken and Lamb Main meal , superb first class I will be back to try other things ...well done guys :)

Visited their new Paisley branch last night, really nice new shop, a lot more spacious. There's a new menu and deliveries starting within 2 weeks as well. A real taste of the Middle East. A must try if you're in the area.

Took our kids there yesterday after discovering Shawarma King on a night out - think we have just created the next generation of Shawarma King superfans! Totally awesome food and a lovely owner.

Shawarma is out of this world - I could eat it every day and wouldn't get fed up. Best thing about this place is the staff. A very sound bunch of people who treat you like a friend rather than a "customer number..." Just about to eat a lamb shawarma and some falafel.

Thanks guys, keep it up!

Omg.. just had a chicken shawarma... beautiful cant beleive ive just tried this place .. already got my next lunch picked... better buy so elasticated work clothes at this rate ��

Malek and AJ were brilliant tonight!! two large handmade falafel wraps a wee cuppa tea while waiting and delightful traditional drink to wash it down!! Get over to the paisley shop and treat yourself!! See you soon guys �

Even despite my anti monarchist stance, I herald you as my king, my one true Shawarma king.

Delicious middle eastern food; fresh ingredients; good vegetarian options. Friendly service; favourite place for takeaway food in Paisley :-)

1st time in this takeaway as recommended by work mate, all i can say is "dam" by far the best mixed kebab i have ever had and ive had a few lol, amazing food defo be back next time am in Glasgow.

Amazing food! they even do pickled red cabbage with their kebab salad which is a bonus in Scotland but the norm in the rest of the UK.



Only suggestion is would be nice if they also did the regular kebab meat most places do aswell as the Shawarma Meat.

The chilli sauce is really good too!

Shawarma taste was ok-ish,nothing special but unfortunately me and my wife had a bad stomach after 2 hours. Thats a real problem.

Ordered from the store in paisley last night 2 mixed kebabs a mixed pakora a bottle of 7up took half an hour before food was ready at the cost of £30 .. pakora was the worst I've had from anywhere overcooked and burnt. Would avoid this place in the future
