For anyone interested in becoming a Rugby Referee, there is a course at Cambridge University RFU on 11th and 12th June. Please see the link below.

The Club is delighted to announce the signing of army corporal and former captain of the ferocious senior men’s army team: Matt Dawson.
Matt, who has also combined Army life with spells at Wasps and on loan at Nat 1 Ampthill, is the perfect fit for Shelford RC. Matt has recently returned from a period overseas and was delighted to be approached by Paul Allen, Shelford’s Head Coach, whom he got to know at his time with Ampthill. Matt says "I’m now looking for a rugby home and just want to play consistently at a good club. I’m excited about helping Shelford regain their national league status and who knows from there"

SHELFORD'S GRADUATING COLTS JOIN SENIOR RANKS
Head Coach Paul Allen is delighted to announce that the first of Shelfords Rugby Club's colts have committed their future to the club.
Michael, Ollie and Jack have now officially graduated from Colts to senior rugby though have tasted the senior side of the game already in the season just concluded.
... All three have come up through the Shelford ranks and are looking forward to the adult game and being part of the club as it re starts its journey back to national league rugby.
Last season's colts are an exciting year group and over the next few weeks many more will be committing themselves to the #PeacockFamily.

You can now play Walking Touch Rugby at Shelford Rugby Club every Tuesday over the summer period. 6PM - 7:30PM. It's completely free, any ages and any experience welcome.

First Casual Touch Rugby session was a great success.
Over 50 players took part in Tuesday's Casual Touch Rugby games.
So much so that we had to split into 3 separate touch rugby games. One walking game, featuring Shelford's Old Boys and two running games. Those who participated were also treated to some free ice cream.
... We'll be doing the same next Tuesday and every Tuesday evening throughout the off-season. 6PM - 7:30PM.

Open to all ages and abilities.
One half of the pitch will be dedicated to Walking Rugby while the other half of the pitch will be for Running Rugby.
