My understanding is that the site was closed for refurbishment a few months back. It doesn't feel freshly refurbished. The photo is what I was met with when I entered the gents toilet. Not really much use to stop people walking in whilst using the facilities!! Signs posted on entrance to toilet corridor and gents toilet warning that facilities are for shell customers only and that they do not provide facilities for lorry drivers. No sign on the ladies toilets though 🤔. According to MSA policy in England (I assume the policy will be similar in Scotland) free toilets should be available 24 hours a day. Whilst there is no specific restriction on use of the toilet here, there is certainly an implied message that drivers aren't welcome without a purchase.

With regards to fuel, check which pumps are for what fuel network for HGVs before pulling onto the pump as only certain pumps can be used depending on the payment method.
