The Shieling Drying Tent was developed on the Isle of Mull in the Hebrides. It is pitched across the prevailing wind to give a through draught. The Family Dryer has 40 metres of line, enough for 4 wash loads, the Professional 100 metres, enough for 10 wash loads. There is a 10 year guarantee on the steel frame, 5 years on the cover. It has been drying washing for free for us and many others for 35 years.
