Good we pub. Meals drink pool table sport in tv and beer garden
Friendly staff and the atmosphere is good. Plenty of seating outside as well as inside. Prices are reasonable and a good choice of drinks and menus. Very DOG FRIENDLY.
Not quite what it seems. Filled with locals but made us feel very welcome. Food was cheap, tasty and filling. The staff were friendly and patient.
Have just returned from a weekend in Melrose and visited the Ship Inn on friday evening. Bar service was terrible as was ignored by the 2 blonde bar staff. One was more interested in chatting to the young lads and the other was constantly in the room behind the bar on her phone.Won't be going back.
Dropped in a week past. Asked if the dog was welcome and they said yes and immediately provided a drinking bowl for him. Food was good, service good. Strangely quiet for such a good place.

Nice pub can get a bit busy at the weekend.
Nice friendly banter and really good staff, specially the leggy blonde. Good pint and average prices. Def go again in the future.
