Ship Shape Leisure is a Community Interest Company which has been set up to benifit the local community intead of share holders. We have been over a year in the planning and it is now looking that we should open towards the end of 2016.
Falkirk area has some good leisure facilities, however finding what you want under one roof and at a resonable cost is definately a challenge.

What facilities will we provide?
Fitness studio for a variety of classes running throughout the day & evening, including childrens classes. In addition to that, we will have indoor & outdoor circuit areas.
The gym area will have all of the exsisting equipment from Ship Shape Fitness Studio along with more cardio machines, free weights, oylimpic bars, kettle bells etc. There will also be a seperate ladies gym that would be enclosed, so to provide privacy for those using it.
4 x 5 aside indoor football pitches with the latest 3G technology.
Creche facilities for members and non-members.
Large soft play area with a sensory room and possibly some party rooms.
Cafe offering cooking classes as well as plenty of healthy options on the menu.
Our outdoor facilities are still in the planning, although may include a climbing wall, mountain biking, canoeing, boot camp, running & walking classes.
Ship Shape Fitness Studio has an excellent reputation for looking after their members and providing top level instruction for over 28 years. We plan on continuing this personal approach which is so difficult to find in many of the larger fitness centres.

All of our profits will stay within the company which will allow us to fund local projects and improve the facilities at Ship Shape Leisure.

We have been in talks with Scottish Canals with regards to the old Irn Bru factory at lock 16 - Tamfourhill. This is our preferred site that has everything that we want, along with some local history.
