What a fantastic little boozer. Staff are extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The acoustics for bands are spot on. Mildly surprised to see a stripper with his knob out when we got there, but it all added to the fun of the evening.

Was there last night at a party, unfortunately my husband has to have an ambulance called due heart problems, the landlady and her staff where absolutely brilliant very caring and compassionate, landlady never left us in till ambulance arrived. Many thanks to all.

Very rude chef - however the landlord was amazing and he made sure we were amply compensated x I love love this place - seen this pub through many ups and downs and down to the landlord - excellence x

Love this place, friendly atmosphere and food is always so delicious. We moved house recently and I needed a decent meal so booked for a carvery and as always, it was spot on.

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch, the carvery was amazing, brilliant selection of vegetables and meat. Totally delicious.. Service was great too, such a lovely family pub :)

Just had Sunday lunch at the pub absolutely lovely food and friendly service as always. We go here a lot and There's always a good atmosphere and the food is always lovely

Had the most beautiful lamb special today. Delish. Want it weekly delivered to my home. Thank you

Had a great party night there. Great service and food. Good atmosphere with plenty of space

Great traditional pub Carvery was brilliant with nice thick cuts of meat done in front of you.

Very family friendly too.

Definitely recommend trying this pub.

Great pub fabulous staff. My daughter had her birthday party here. Food was beautiful and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely recommend this pub

Great food and beer, the staff are fantastic and they do a great pub quiz every fortnight. It's like a home from home :)

Great food and a great selection of beers. Also family friendly which makes a change from a lot of places

Amazing service from bar, waiting staff and kitchen. Food is brilliant at such a great cost, chef is really hitting it up! Positive attitude, family friendly, dog friendly and overall a really happy experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Very nice staff and the Steaks were lovely, plenty of it and prompt service, made a nice change to go out on a Wednesday!

The bar lady was having a nitemare wrong food to wrong table and dropping plates! But all in good humour and a very friendly atmosphere. Maybe not for a special occasion but to pop in for a lovely homely lunch perfect .
