Good food and drink choice
Friendly staff
And nice clean toilets
Like this Cinema. There is not over occupied, it is therefore cosy. Has everything I need to enjoy the movie.
I’ve been to showcase cinema a couple of times and it’s amazing seats are comfy and sound is great definitely recommend it to thousands of People
Great night at the show case with choir members watching Mama Mia..Tickets were booked in advance and everything was in good running order.Staff as usual very polite and helpful.
Great cinema love the premier seats. And the popcorn and ice blasts are fab as usual. Love this local cinema.
10.30am showing, so hopefully not busy. Well let me start with the cinema was lovely and warm the film was terrific what was not so terrific was the 2 couples behind us. One the male ate crunched his way through several bags of sweets and cans of juice, yes we heard the rings getting pulled and alas several loud belches and I mean loud. The other couple were 2 young girls who chatted all the way through the film!!!! Why!!! they could go for their chat in a cafe. I am aware the cinema staff have no control over other people’s rudeness, but how about some more reminders for patrons to be aware of not spoiling the experience for others, as you are aware it’s not a cheap day out. Thanks
Went to visit to watch Daddys home 2. Film was great. Lady that served us our tickets was really helpful, welcoming, efficent and friendly. Service a bit slow at food counter but guy was pleasant enough. Only downside is paying £28 admission fee and then charged nearly £12 for 2 medium slushes and one bag of starburst......enjoyable experience but a bit pricey.
Screen 3, adverts just finishing and film about to start, no more than 20 people in watching the morning Star Wars (12A?) matinee, lights down then in comes Dad with two six(ish) children sitting next to my seat at the back row. What's wrong with the other 200 seats mate? Thanks Dad; you just make sure they have enough boiled sweets and nachos to last the 2.5 hour film and please make sure they have a good gurgle of their Diet Coke during the quiet bits. It's okay, I'll move. Apart from that, well done Showcase you're a great venue. May I recommend that you build a wee Child Care Therapy centre for all the 6 year olds forced to watch people get sliced in two by lightsabers.
I went on Monday at lunchtime with my kids, the staff were friendly and helpful. I go to this cinema regularly and never had a bad experience.
Good service with really nice staff, food & drink a bit pricey though. Cinema 5 really good with brill sound quality.
We use this cinema because it is local, would like to see more ‘meal deals’ for kids. The ticket prices for the cinema are so much you then feel as tho your being robbed when you pay £9 for 2 soft drinks and a bottle of water! The overall appearance of the cinema is a bit tired now in comparison to the newer venues in the surrounding areas. Could do with an update. However we will continue to use it because if it’s close proximity
Was fine except from the two children unnacompanied at the back throwing things like bottle caps ect and hitting people .......
No lights on in theatre had to use my phone to find our seats as did everyone else.
Was there last night to see the Dambusters. Spoiled slightly by the delay between the Royal Albert Hall part and the live screening of the film. We sat for 5 minutes in the dark till someone wandered in to tell us there was an interval. Then at the end of the film the house lights didn't come on. So most folk had to use their mobile phones torches to get out. A lot of pensioners were there and the lack of lighting was dangerous. Great show/film but Showcase Cinemas service was poor
Seats are so uncomfortable don't think I will be back silverburn and Quay are a lot better .I was there lastnight the guy who served us for our food his face was tripping him . Popcorn was soggy. Won't be back sorry.
Mamma Mia Saturday 21 July
What is a " feel good " movie was spoiled by such a poor playback. Home cinema produces better sound. What is a movie that is created on the ABBA soundtrack this took away the biggest part of the movie.
Don't go and see it in screen 12 at the Showcase Linwood !!!
Very disappointing.
First visit to Showcase Paisley in years and to be honest we were a bit disappointed with the overall experience compared to other newer cinemas near us.
First of all there is no facility to book your seats online in advance. Not a problem you might think until you arrive to find on this occasion there was only one member of staff at one desk and only two at the other causing lengthy and time consuming queues. This caused us to enter the cinema only 10 minutes from the start of the film. Again, not a problem you might think, however as it was so dark with very poor floor lighting, we found it impossible to find our booked seat numbers without turning on our phone. The cinema itself was okay but the normal seats are very cramped compared to normal seats at newer cinemas. Sadly, Showcase Paisley will not be our first choice cinema.
Dont like the idea that you are allocated seat number you then have to walk into a dark cinema and try to find seat
Not as if it was bust very few staff around to assist
Was there yesterday evening with family. About 30 mins into film place went pitch black and film stopped due to power cut. Emergency lighting came on. Fire alarm activated with no direction to evacuate. My husband went to speak to staff who said it wasn’t a fire was due to power cut. He questioned then if fire did start they would not know and should evacuate, he was told to wait in cinema as they were trying to fix this and film would be on shortly.
After about 25 mins from power going off a staff member came in and advised we all go into foyer as manager wanted to speak to everyone. In foyer there was no discussion with manager and customers. Staff were giving out cinema tickets so could attend again to see movie. No offer of refund for tickets or refreshments bought!! When questioned on this was told fire service have instructed evacuation of building and paying for food etc was not their problem as they had no control of situation!!
Disgusting to say the least - tbh staff were incompetent as was manager, was extremely obvious nobody was aware of safety procedures or took charge of situation. Customers were put at potential risk with staff denying any responsibility!!
