It’s been a stressful weekend here @shulistacroftwigwams. Our gorgeous boy Bryn (yes, the BBQ sausage pincher!) took very unwell on the early hours of Saturday morning and we had to rush him to the vets in Portree at 3am. We were not sure he would be coming home again. Did you know you can travel Skye from Mallaig to Armadale on the ferry, then drive up the island to Shulista Croft Wigwams? Sailing over the sea to Skye is a great way of starting your adventures on this stunning Isle.
This photo was taken on Talisker Beach in November where the kids played for hours. It’s a stunning spot to have a picnic, with the added bonus of... a wee dram at Talisker afterwards!

Well, we did mention we had been busy...........and finally we can spill the beans!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Shulista Croft Wigwams feature in the first ever global advertising campaign by Visit Scotland!
Filmed in October last year, we threw the Wigwam keys to the Andrew, the Location Manager and his production team, as we sped off to Inverness to have our second child. What a week to remember!
... There have been sleepless nights ever since – and not just because of the baby! We are so excited to be part of this wordwide campaign and delighted to have been chosen to represent the Isle of Skye (along with the Old Man!)
It must have been our lucky week. A crystal-clear night sky on Skye brought out the Milky Way, an incredible Aurora and a shooting star. We couldn’t have wished for more.

What a wonderful stay we had at Shulista Croft Wigwams. From the time we arrived to when we left, hosts Sally and Adam were very welcoming and full of recommendations for places to go and visit. Enjoyed the daily walk past from one of the chickens and visits from Bryn and Buster! What a nosy pair they are and very cute!

Awesome views from the wigwam too.

Kitted out with everything we needed for our stay aswell. Comfortable and nice and cosy!

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet!

We had the most perfect 4 nights staying here. Adam and Sally are the most amazing hosts, the view is incredible and the wigwams are so perfect. Cannot recommend it enough, it is a privilege to stay here and we cannot wait to come back.

We are very impressed about the very warm welcome from Adam and Sally. They are wounderful people who help us, gave us the best tips where to go and like to talk to us. That was a very nice feeling to be welcome.

There are so many wonderful things to say about staying here and there are way too many to list. We had an incredible stay at the beginning of this month. The location was perfect and met our goal of getting away to some peace and quiet. We spent 2 nights in Wigwam #1 and I would gladly return any day!! The wigwam was so cozy and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were entertained by the lambs who were running and hopping about. Skye is beautiful and there is tons to see and do! Stayed for a night when visiting Skye with friends, Adam and Sally were so friendly and welcoming making sure we had everything we needed on arrival. My friend had arranged this as a surprise for my birthday, Adam made sure we got the fire pit up and burning and Sally came out with a birthday shot of her homemade rhubarb vodka. Would definitely recommend!!

Spent 2 nights in your lovely Wigwams. The scenery from the main door is breathtaking, its like the wigwams integrate with Skye's landscape seamlessly. Everything is so neat and tidy inside the wigwam and the hospitality by Adam and Sally makes us feel so much at home (not forgetting cute baby Zach). Will definitely recommend this place to others. Already tempted to plan another Skye trip next summer. Would love to be back. - New friends from Singapore!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome at Shulista.

Met Sally and baby Jess first at the gate then Adam and Zack cutting the grass at our Wigwam.

Buster and Brin the dogs said hello too and we had another wee friend who took a shine to us-one of the free roaming chickens who we nicknamed Shaniqua! She was even in the wigwam helping us settle in!

The wigwams are immaculate and include everything you need for your stay.

Sally was so helpful giving us recommended places to eat and local shops to source essentials. Even trying to book us in for food the night we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for either Adam or Sally.

And thanks to Adam and his fire kit our wee fire was a roaring success both nights we stayed.

Loved the fact there was no wifi!

I didn't travel all that way to get away from it all to not really be away from anything by still being able to connect! So big thumbs up from me regarding no wifi!

The scenery is breathtaking and the location is perfect to just sit and fill your soul with appreciation for this beautiful land. So satisfying just listening to the sounds of nature and we had the added bonus of glorious weather too!

We never stopped being impressed by the stunning scenery all weekend and we were constantly saying to each other how great the place was.

The wigwams are surrounded by loads of my "things to do on Skye" list and we were able to tick a few of them off on this trip.

Will manage the rest of them next time.....

Fantastic spot to park your motorhome! A warm welcome awaits from the lovely owners and beauty abounds in the solitude of this location. A most stunning drive up the east coast of Skye taking in the magnificent Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the Quiraing leads the way to shuilista. So lovely we had to return at the end of trip for a second night's stay to enjoy the peace and tranquility on this remote site.

If you are looking to escape into the wilds of Scotland shuilista is a must.

Would love to return again one day and try the wigwams...

A truly wonderful place to stay, shulista is breathtaking in its beauty and is a fantastic place to base yourself on Skye.

Adam and Sally are so lovely and extremely helpful, Adam even helping us book a table for my 40th birthday dinner, Zach is a wee cracker and Bryn and Buster were a joy to have running around, as well as some very nosey chickens!!

We also met an amazing family from long Island NY who were staying beside us who we sat up with for hours round the firepit while our kids played.

We would recommend shulista to all our friends and family and we plan to be back very soon
