The Black & Bleu Salad is excellent. Maybe the best sirloin I’ve had. Kids menu very good too. Very enjoyable dinner in an amazing space.

So today we had a baby shower for my daughter, the venue was just perfect , all the guest greeted the mum to be from the upstairs balcony...... she loved it, the staff Esther suzie and neve were so accommodating to the 30+ guests , perfect amount of food and quick to serve , even managed to deal with a crazy Italian with a camera � great day, fab memories and I’d recommend it to anyone �

Nice folks. Nice food. Nice place in general. Worth the 200mile journey for lunch.

My wife and i are regular visitors to si. The food is always really good (the new haggis & black pudding street pizza is really tasty as i can testify from yesterday's visit). As usual the ambience and attentiveness of the very friendly staff was second to none.

My hubby and I were really impressed with the lovely warm friendly comfortable surrounding's of the restaurant. The staff were all really friendly and so helpful .The waitress Esther that served us was really nice friendly helpful and very efficient. We both loved our lunch it was delicious the tagliatelle carbonara I had was the best I've ever tasted ,good size portions at a reasonable price which I highly recommend .Thank you

I have been several times to this restaurant and really liked it the service was excellent and the staff were very helpful very good menu choices would recommend it

I chose Si to host my sister hen party in! The upstairs space is amazing and totally private. It was perfect for the night, we had our own servers and bar and we were made to feel very special!

Everything was beautifully set up when we arrived and we were allowed to add our own little touches to both of the rooms. Our servers Amy and Zoe couldn't have been nicer and nothing was a bother to them!

Finally, our meal was to die for!! The variety of courses on the menu was brilliant and everyone commented on how delicious their food was.

Overall we had a really great night and can't thank the staff at Si enough for making everything go so smoothly. Would definitely recommend Si for group bookings and parties!

Had my daughters 21st birthday dinner tonight, Esther did an amazing job of looking after a table of 15. Was great for the kids too, the food was great x

Great night at the party night! Great service and excellent food. Catered for a vegan and someone who didn't like any of the mains on the party night menu. Well organised. Looking forward to revisiting next Friday.

First time here at si restaurant 2 course meal lovely food first class will be here many more times in the near future

Amazing breakfast the other morn esp since I’m veggie I felt I had as much to eat as my son and partner as normally my plate gets bulked out with potatoe bites or something to make it look a lot but this was lovely it’s been a couple of years since iv been as it isn’t local to us but I now remember why I loved it the fact you get a hot AND cold drink with your breakfast is fab rather than have to buy lots on the side staff so helpful can’t wait to come back xx

Love the decor and the ambience..staff friendly and helpful. Had rather a long wait for meal and it wasn't particularly busy. Food was lovely but the evening was spoilt by the quiz .. .the volume was tremendous and as we were celebrating an 80th Birthday we were unable to have a conversation as the quiz master was so loud. We left without dessert as the noise was too much..

Had a great time last Sunday night upstairs for a friends 50th birthday! Great service from all staff, especially the duty manager Ester �

Enjoyed a lovely meal tonight, staff very friendly and attentive. Kirsty made every effort to ensure we had a nice evening . Would recommend to friends.

We attended last night and were dining upstairs, the food was delicious so no complaints there but service was so slow, we waited ages after being seated to order drinks and the wait was so long we made sure we ordered good at the same time just to prevent waiting any longer! The wait between courses was ridiculous also and we had to go looking for staff to place a drinks order on more than one occasion throughout the meal. I understand there was a party night happening downstairs but don't know why the service upstairs was so poor. Probably won't be back in a hurry.

Just returned from a meal at Si using an itison voucher with my husband.. The market menu didnt have a great deal of choice on but was adequate. Our first time in Si and were really impressed by decor and ambience. Our greeting was friendly and our options explained to us and drinks order taken. We seemed to sit a little longer than we would expect for our starters to be cleared. Our main course came and not once were we quality checked. Food was fine but I wanted another Pepsi and had we been quality checked I could have then asked instead of having to leave my meal and go to bar to order. The restaurant was not busy and would have expected a much greater service standard. Again we sat for a long time before our mains were cleared....as did a table beside and behind us and we could here them comment on this. Eventually mains cleared and we ordered desserts. I was too full to eat mine but my husband enjoyed the lemon meringue. Couldnt fault the food but its not that special that it would have been worth it within an itison voucher. When desserts were cleared we asked for our bill. After 10 minutes I had to ask another waitress for bill. We paid our bill and left. Would we return.....unsure tbh. Basics in a restaurant service should never be overlooked but maybe as an ex restaurant general manager im too fussy and times may have changed in the last 10 years. I hope Si take these comments constructively and rather than look at then negatively take them in a positive way and look for the gaps in their service training :)

Been 3 times over a period of 3 years, it's OK, reasonably priced and decent enough selection, just not spectacular food

Lovely venue but disappointed with food, carbonara swimming in a watery sauce, macaroni was tasteless, most of the waitresses pleasant but one in particular looked like she was chewing a wasp!
