Great atmosphere for coffee and cake. My little son loves walking around the bikes. Excellent experience for bike repairs also. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Food is good, but I'm still a bit ambivalent as to whether not they are as dog friendly as I've been told. I've seen people bring dogs in frequently, but a few weeks back, I came in with a small dog and after sitting down, one of the members of staff came over and told me to keep the dog on my lap. It's a very small mini dachshund and most of the time, the staff are friendly, but a couple seem to really dislike dogs being in the shop. The way I was approached was as though I was an annoying presence. Amusingly, I wasn't told this until after I made my order. It's a nice place, but the attitude of a few of the staff members spoil it, which is more often the case with most places.

seemed willing to help, but didn't know the specs of the inner tubes they had - told me to look it up myself. said he'd be right back, then ten minutes later i hear a woman hang up the phone! going to BIKECHAIN instead!

This place is pretty good! Great coffee and treats selection. The breakfast and lunch menu is tasty and healthy, albeit a bit on the pricey side. My favorite thing is that they have filter coffee!

Would be great if they showed cycling on the TV.

A great place for coffee/lunch breaks in the West End and for all types of cycling enthusiasts. Hosting some brilliant events, too.

We came in after a long cold ride with our bikes. Perhaps it's unfair to compare it to other bike cafes we visit but there were no racks in the shop despite plenty of floor space. We propped them up by our table. No one minded. We were the only riders in there but that's ok, just didn't feel that much like a bike cafe. Staff were very nice, food was ok but mainly 2 stars for the FREEZING cold. We came in to warm up after 50 January miles - it was so so so cold. We left colder than we came in.

Very nice if a little pricey. More for the casual cyclist.

I ate at this cafe today, and whilst I enjoyed my food, the experience was marred by the service and the apparent inaccuracy of the menu.

I ordered the Middle East Piece, which despite being advertised as having houmous did not appear to have any. It also came with coleslaw which wasn't advertised - I had to scrape this off my plate as I have an egg allergy. (I think that a side was noted, but it was unclear what this would be.)

My order consisted of a smoothie and a sandwich with soup. When I went up to pay, I noticed that the bill (around £10.50) was lower than it should have been and pointed this out (as it should have been about £12). In response the man at the till started making fun of me, asking if I wanted to pay more (to which I said “yes”) and said he could make it £15 if I wanted. Another member of staff checked the receipt and realised that I hadn't been charged for the soup, and then corrected the bill.

Throughout this exchange the man at the till - I believe his name was David - repeatedly called me "big man", despite me telling him twice that I am a woman. In response he claimed that he called people “big man” regardless of gender, which I told him was impolite - the other guy on shift agreed with me and told him that wasn't okay.

I have never before in my life been mocked for pointing out that I have been undercharged. I am aware that in some establishments staff are penalised for this type of error, so I always make sure I am paying the correct amount. The member of staff at the till was completely unprofessional, and I find it genuinely difficult to understand what compelled him to act in this way. (Perhaps he found me wanting to pay the correct amount strange, but if he wanted to make fun of this, he could at least have waited until I was gone to do so.)

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had a negative experience in this cafe. I attended an event that was hosted at this cafe last month, and was similarly misgendered, though the member of staff apologised when I pointed this out.

So, whilst the food was good, I probably won't be coming back.

Part Cafe. Part Bike shop. But more than the sum of those parts. Sumptuous menu and a real sense of comfort and culture.... A great West End hangout for 2 legged and 2 wheeled creatures alike.

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, a sun trap beer garden and packed with bikes! What more could one ask for?
Also an excellent place to get your bike fixed. The mechanic there is very helpful and my bike now feels like new!
