We're excited to announce that it's less than a week to go until the Pommery Champagne Bar is back! Enjoy Fizz and sharing platters in the magnificent Upper Library whilst you experience Chris Levine's immersive installation. #Pommery #Edinburghfestival

amazeballs. times one thousand. Legit. Super duper good. The gold leaf on the jaffa cake was da bomb. We received a friggin reusable bag for our leftovers. How cray amazing is that?! The bathroom experience was mega decadent. It smells like fancy hand soap. We asked the waiter for a photo, and he gave us a full photo shoot. Don't even get me started on the amouse bouche. The fact that the books behind us were first edition was noted and appreciated. TWO flavours of sugar cubes--wow!!!!!

Well that has to be one of the best afternoon teas we have ever had. Food absolutely fantastic, service impeccable. What an amazing place to go for a special occasion.

We were lucky enough to have our champagne afternoon tea supported by a gift voucher. And I am very glad that I did not have lunch that day because the amount of delicacies outweighs other venues for afternoon tea in Edinburgh.

All the savouries were delightful. .. especially the wee duck bomblets... and the minute prawn salad. It took us a whole 3 hours to get through all the food and champagne and tea/coffee. All delightfully served and service was first class. .. friendly informed but not intrusive. Only 2 very minor caveats...provide hot water with China tea automatically I had to ask and tho it came relatively quickly it was an unnecessary delay to my second cup. The only other item us signage.... more indication of which door is the accessible lavatory would be helpful. But neither of those small points would stop me or my friends returning. It is a special venue with a unique ambience.

We enjoyed a fantastic night at the Hogmanay Ball, the venue was amazing and every little detail covered to perfection. All staff were lovely and made us all so relaxed. My youngest daughter has coeliac disease which can often be stressful when eating out but nothing was any trouble here and here dietary requirements were met with no worry at all. Thank you to everyone for such a great memorable night!

The most attentive helpful staff changed my strawberry jam as i don't like it amazing food boxed what we couldn't eat and a great range of teas would have had a cocktail but had a trip booked so had to leave can't wait to go again worth every penny beautiful place

The Signet Library is a beautiful building to have a function in. The staff are excellent. I have a gluten allergy & that was catered for. The wedding I attended was very well organised by the staff & the young lady who was Master Of Ceremonies was first class.

The Signet Library had a peaceful, elegant ambience.

A mouthwatering extravaganza of savoury and sweet delights. Excellent choice of teas and other beverages.

Service was slick, staff very attentive, no rushing us out even after 2 1/2 hours!

Will be recommending it to friends and family.

Went for afternoon tea for friends birthday, was worth every penny, can say it's one of the best afternoon tea's I have had if not thee best, the variety of yummy treats was outstanding only issue was deciding what one I liked the best. Staff were so attentive, nothing was to much trouble & always made sure we were well stock on tea & coffee. The building is stunning, absolutely beautiful, chandeliers, mirrored tables, old artwork, grand staircase & old books........will definitely be back soon, thank you for a wonderful day xx

Having travelled up on the Caledonian Sleeper for Valentine's Day, we were looking for something special in a beautiful city. Having read loads of reviews on so many places I went for the Signet for the location, style and reports of quality. We were not disappointed. A fantastic setting, our table amongst the bookshelves, intimate. The food was amazing. The savouries, pocket sized bombs of flavour. The sweets, everything you'd expect and more. Pink beetroot and goats cheese tartlets and heart shaped maccarons, a nod to the occasion. Enough quality teas to sink a ship and a cheeky sorbet to finish off. They even do their own gin.

But the afternoon was made by the people who looked after our every query and need. Thanks to all, but a special mention to 'Nacho'. Professional, friendly and engaging but not intrusive.

Everyone's enthusiasm for ensuring we got the most from our afternoon appeared genuine and was appreciated. Too far away for a regular return but special enough to put on the 'to do again' list.

Had our wedding here and it was absolutely amazing could not fault one thing. Every single guest commented on what a place it was and how amazing the food was. Can't wait to come back for afternoon tea. Thank you very much the signet team ❤xx

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Lots of variety and tasty treats. My friend who is Coeliac was delighted to have a complete package as some venues think gluten free means remove some elements from the plate rather than give alternatives. Splendid service and a very tranquil ambience. It was all a delight . Very happy

Allergies were taken into consideration and alternatives provided, not many places cater to your needs like the Signet. All in all it was a great experience that we hope to repeat when in Edinburgh.
