Sorry but Wouldn't recommend this takeaway to anyone. Satay had no taste of peanut whatsoever and beef was tougher than shoe leather. Sauce for sweet and sour wasn't much better than water, though salt and chilli chips were nice. Order was short of rice on delivery tho this was sorted fairly quickly though we were asked to pay extra delivery !!!
A very expensive bag for the recycling bin as this was all its fit for.

Was a great Chinese Takeaway, but it now has gone downhill, the beef curry is fatty & tough, this has
happened twice, also food used to be delivered hot to your door, it's now lukewarm when delivered, so
will not be ordering again from the silver lantern, it has gone right down in my estimation. So disappointing
as have been using the silver lantern for a year now, I think the silver lantern has changed hands & all they
are concerned about is getting money for their food not thinking about quality of their food. So I would
advise anyone considering the silver lantern, do not waste your money, as poor service, poor quality of
food & not very hot.

Food is way too expensive and cheap quality - I recommend going to some way tastier and more valued RESTAURANTS, not takeaways (which are strangely more expensive here in the UK) in the city centre. The Scottish lady at the counter was extremely RUDE and shouted at me when I tried to leave - making me hesitate ($$$). The food took AGES to cook and the attitude of the lady made the experience even worse.

When I tried the food, I couldn't believe I paid nine quid for such a small amount. Even a dinner buffet at some restaurants is cheaper! The food wasn't so special either. Don't be LAZY and waste your time here.
