A fleeting moment captured perfectly in this canvas print by Hayley Mills. This piece would 'bee' a lovely addition to any home (sorry we couldn't help ourselves).
Tracy Wilson (Edinburgh) creates a range of jewellery that plays clean lines against soft shapes. This triangular pendant necklace is titled 'identity'.
We asked Artist Amanda Honeyman to tell us a little about what inspires her:
"My work is mainly based around my love of animals, fantasy creatures and childhood memories. From early years I was influenced by the work of Cicely Mary Barker when my Aunt Rita gifted me a poetry book of Flower Fairies.
I thought it was so magical and often tried to draw the figures with different fashion styles. The work of Brian Froud, the designer behind the Labyrinth movie, was also a great ...love of mine. He showed the possibilities of merging the animal and fae world which was so enchanting.
My set of small paintings which I refer to as 'bearies' emerged and expanded from a series that I collated for my Degree Show at ECA. I like to think each have their own abilities. Many days were spent drawing the polar bear, Mercedes which used to be a resident of Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park. I think of her having her own wings now that she is no longer with us."

Did you know that you can spend your Perth Gift Card at Silver Linings? The Perth Card is accepted at over sixty Perth businesses so you're spoiled for choice on where to spend it (though obviously, we would love it if you popped in to Silver Linings).
Showing willow in a new light with Angie Young: The natural facets of willow twigs and a special silver casting process create a dynamic surface that shows silver well in any light.
Angie Young (Dalgetty Bay) creates this unique textured appearance through casting the silver with strips of willow. Her jewellery design blends an ethereal lightness with a natural texture to create some really unique pieces. Pop into Silver Linings for a closer look.
The cold is moving in, Halloween has passed. We're not suggesting you get the Christmas decorations out but these lovely robin pieces by CARRIE PAXTON / GLASS ARTIST would add a lovely seasonal touch.
Perth's seagulls do have a bit of a reputation but we didn't realise it would be memorialised in art.
This slightly comical piece by Sarah Halliday could add some humour and lightness to a space. (So long as you don't have ornithophobia/ a fear of birds that is...)
There's something so intriguing about seeing the natural shape and texture of willow twigs when they're replicated in silver. This bangle is one of Angie Young's willow collection and is sure to be a talking point whenever you wear it.
The striated surface on these textured bangles helps show the silver at its best, providing a blend of bright sparkles and a soft cool glow.
Soft shapes and a focus on themes like family and balance. You may have seen a few posts with jewellery by Holly Silver Jewellery but we thought we would show you a couple of pictures covering a larger portion of the range we stock.
Tiny, adorable, and a perfect year-round decoration by Linda Normand (Scone)
This monochrome tweed eagle silhouette is striking yet simple. A fantastic piece by Sew and Saw.
These pieces by Jane Douglas are filled with warmth and life. It seems that bees in gold vermeil could be just the thing to chase away the cold (a little).
Onyx is often thought of as a black mineral but it actually comes in an array of colours. The green onyx in this piece offers a softer option to its darker cousin which is highlighted by its lovely gold plated shell enclosure.
A Silver Linings Gift Voucher gives them the gift of choice. We have lots of lovely pieces to choose from and we'll be there to help them find the perfect item.
A single tiny rose preserved forever in resin. A timeless gift for someone you care about. This lovely necklace was created by Botanic Isles who use this preservation technique to lovely effect, pop in to see their range.
Focus on the artist: We asked Sarah Halliday if she could tell us a little about her distinctive paintings of Perth's Streets. Here's what she had to say:
"The style came from me trying to show both sides of the street in a quirky original way. I’ve done Edinburgh in a similar way and intend to do Glasgow too.
The old buildings lend themselves to this sort of style really well because they have great details in the architecture and vary in shape and size from one to the other."
A slice of silver and a burst of colour from the purple anodised aluminium in this lovely piece in-store now.
